Suggestion for Sardelac
I suppose this should go into site feedback, be seeing as its more relevant to here Ill put it here anyway
I a Sardelac nut I think its about time we got a bit more organised, How about we split the forum (much like the sell's), whith a seperate section for the following:
-CC's
-Equipment Ideas
-Gameplay ideas
-Interface ideas
-Other/general Ideas
Thats it, I just thought seeing as there are alot of CC's floating about on scattered pages, they should be sepearted somehow...The rest just followed
I suppose a major drawback would be whoever has to sort them if it happens....I'll help if you do it
Done ^ ^
Have a nice day

becasue msot people dont read the stickies it would be an even bigger mess after the split, plus id be too lazy for the extra button clicks.

The CCs should get their own forum, that should clear it up a bit (those are the easiest to separate from the rest of the threads anyway). I don't agree on the other sub forums though, that would make it messy and, as mega_jamie said, people who don't read stickies won't bother checking if it goes into the right forum or not.
/signed for CC sub-forum
/notsigned for the rest

I think would create too many sub, which will divide the readership, with possible less feedback from it.
Maybe one sub fourm can be added.. rest, a nice constanly kept update index sticky should do enough.

the concept class one sounds useful, but i know inde has mentioned a few times that there are just too many catagories and sub catagories on guru, and would like to keep it as simple as possible

Guru already has an overabundance of forums/sub-forums.
There is one thing that needs to be addressed though and that is the amazing amount of useless threads that gets created in there day after day. I'm not Mod bashing as I think they do a great job but maybe for a little while any post submitted should be reviewed by a Mod before it is allowed into the public eye.

i made a similar thread but it didn't go over well. i'm with admins bane on this one.
i also think the mods do what they can, but i don't necessarily think a review before posting a submission is necessarily the right way to go.
