Ranked Districts
I know this has been mentioned before, but I couldn't find it in search or the index, so I'm guessing it was very old.
in HA, make a set of districts for all ranks, one for rank 3+, one for rank 6+, one for rank 9+, one for rank 12+. I keep seeing unranked players who want to try and have fun and learn, but can't because 90% of all the HA districts nowadays are full of rank 6's or higher.
I know A-net is gonna f*** it up if they put this in. Make the game check for ranks when groups are moving districts.

I think this a great idea, anet wouldnt have to check for ranks because what rank 12 goes into an unranked district other than if they wished to help, it would give every one some space. Unranked players would have lots more fun and be able to rank up faster. While highranked players could do organized H-A or even help unranked/lowranked players. Best pvp idea i've heard in a long time.
/Signed. Keep this post going
Edit: How is it a flat out stupid idea, its going to stop getting bothered by low ranks while you get to do all your U83R L337 pvp

Let unranked people play with unranked until they are ranked, let ranked people play with ranked.
And a better idea is, the unranked people will only meet up against other unranked people, so it's fair that way, the unranked can get rank more quickly, eventually going into ranked districts, joining ranked groups, and fighting with ranked people.
This idea should've been thought at the beginning of GW

Easy.
1. IF you can only go into districts of the same rank as you or lower, then you have a couple problems - First, no one high ranked can help out anyone lower, and second, are there really enough of each rank group on at a time to form parties? You greatly reduce the pool of candidates. Besides, a bunch of rank 9 IWays are no better than unranked new PvPers anyhow, so you don't get the segregation of skill you would intend.
2. If they allow higher ranks to visit lowers, you just add another tool for little boys with big egos to use to flame the lower levels, making quality of life less pleasant in general.
And don't pretend they wouldn't do it.

About number 2, people do that anyway. I can't tell you how many times I've gone into HA and immediately saw someone say "hahaha look at my tiger you wolf, bambi, and unranked n00bs." Wouldn't make much difference in that adding in the ranked district feature.
And about number 1, the idea would be to allow access to a ranked district when you get that rank, allowing you to visit all other districts you have access to. But you seem to understand that, so just making sure for you ^^
Oh wait, upon re-reading the first post I can see how that's unclear, but yeah, there would be no point to restricting acess only to the rank you currently have, and not the ones below your rank.
So of course, /signed for me.

Under condition already stated. You can get in to that "level" if you meet or exceed that rank. Aka if your rank 6 you could get in to Rank 0, Rank 3, and Rank 6 area's but not Rank 9, 12 etc.

I also look like this approach on matching but don't want to dissallow higher rank in lower area. But if you get a rank 6+ in rank 0 spamming Rank 6+ show emote you have leg to stand on to say go to your own D

That's a horrible idea... The unranked players will never learn anything if they just roll other bad players. It takes losing to good players to learn from your mistakes, and imo, that's what being rank 0-3 is all about. This system should only aid in the forming of groups, but all HAers should compete in the same tournament.

If you allow higher ranked players into un-ranking areas then you start running into the problem of highly ranked groups going to lower ranked areas to possibly wipe the floor with lower ranked (chances are high). You can either:
1. Not allow higher ranked players into lower ranked districts. Though you might end up with areas that are sparsely populated if not done correctly.
2. Allow higher ranked players into lower ranked districts, but when you start a battle the type of group you go against is determined by the highest ranked player. So if you have an r12 with a bunch of r3's than you would be matched with a group ranked closest to the r12 player.
3. Allow higher ranked players into lower ranked districts, but reduce faction rewards and remove fame gained. That way there is less incentive to 'pwn' in lower ranked districts.

The "rank" of the team would have to be matched to a like team of rank compsotion in the background done by the server. Not a system determined by what D/Rank your in for it to work.

Bad bad idea. Really.
Not only would it promote elitism it would also give the jerks even more powder for their Anti-Newbie Flaks.

Good idea on the lower ranks cant get into high rank districts but high ranks can get into low for helping, but it would be rather annoying if there were about 15 rank 6+ spamming rank 6+ party lf (insert build) Maybe if Ghial Grey from a-net saw this could ask them for a beta test in a couple of months or somthing? just an idea And if your going to mock the idea atleast leave a reason, dont just say "no signed stupid" ect. Constructive criticism based round why you dont like it rather than its a crappy idea

This is an interesting idea, but the majority of you are thinking like a PUG. What about guilds teams that have a mixture of high rank and low/no rank players who want to play Heroes’ Ascent (HA)?

This is probably not a good idea either. You may be limiting yourself in HA where you could be waiting for hours and seeing “No Opposing Party” or similar notice on the screen when you want to enter the mission (very similar to Alliance Battles).

I'm just saying that if you introduce anything in the game that promotes elitism the negative potential will amplified. What you see today in HA will pale in comparison of the self-proclaimed elite popping into lower arenas, vomiting their elitism and running to the higher ranked area before they have to tolerate any criticism of their childishness.
