...or you could've told them to do an -image download a week ago.
Off topic; this is the wrong forum, this is a rant and this is butchering english, if you wanted to make a point you should've sent a PM to Gaile about it. Then you're more likely to get her attention anyway.

That also ticked me off when i bought the game. But i guess it is done to conserve both GW servers and your bandwidth, so you dont have to download stuff from areas you dont go into. This ultimately provides better srver performance at lower expense, keeping GW free of monthly fees, which is ofcourse a nice thing.
And after the initial first big downloads, theyre usually very small, so it is not a big problem.

the download has been available for well over a week, infact, it has been available to download for ever a year.
Just download the client, then run it. once it gets to the log-in screen, you will see a lightning bolt in the top right corner showing the progress. Just let it sit and finish the download.
Contacting them isn't going to do you any good. They arn't going to upload a 3gig file to Fileplanet before the weekend is over.

hi sherlock.
did you even guess that you were downloading the full game since they cant snip off a tiny chunk just for you?
it was posted by me and others a week ago to start downloading before the event as it was a big download.
there is nothing wrong with the client
