Make them like the Factions crafters, in that any armor model can have any armor stat.

It adds a lot more visual variety as to what you see people wearing. I can't remember the last time I've seen someone wearing 15k Ascalonian armor (my favorite armor model) in PvP. Please update them, there are many people who like the original Prophecies armor models but can't use them because of the stats.

They made the Faction armor crafters the way they did in response to people wanting to pick their stat/skin combo. If Anet had intended to retroactively apply it to Prophecies; they would've by now. Changing it now would likely anger some people that chose their armor under the existing system.

Prophecies is Prophecies...no need to have every bit of Factions stuff in Prophecies as well. Also, some would be mad that they wasted all that money for an armor that can look/be better now.

How about as a compromise, any of the proph armor skins that weren't brought over for factions can be brought over for nightfall?

I disagree with knightsaber, as you can add collectors who can take a piece and give you a new peice with different stats (for like 2-4 weeks), however I'm not sure if a collecter can handle armors with runes on them or infused armor. They'd have to assure that they would for me to /sign it.

i just wish that new classes could get new armor in the old games (like how the dervish will only be able to get armor in elona). they should back update that, but definatly not what you mean.
