Fragility Spike During Nightfall Preview
For those who have been in Random Areanas during the preview event, you should know about these Fragility Spikers who deal so much dmg with that nightfall skill.....which is.,
Hypochondria:
This skill removes all the conditions of the target, before instantaneously reapplying them along with the conditions of surrounding foes.
First a mesmer/necro casts fragility on a target, then casts phatom pain adn then remove it with shatter delusions. When that target has deep wound from phatom pain,he uses Virulence on target and immediatley uses Hypochondria which removes all ur conidionts and deal u LOTs of dmg in 1 spell.
This is abit overpowering,dun u think.NERF IT

Nerf Touch Rangers too!

I'm sure it's going to get a slight readjustment(as in the build), however I'm pretty sure this was intentionaly put in the game for this purpose, just like Recurring Insecurity was for SBRI...

I think they just need to change how hypochondria is working, like not to remove and reaplly - which is actually a insta 200+ ~dmg bomb.

its even worse with the new gvg builds using following skills mainly
-tainted flesh
-rotting flesh
-toxicity
-fragility
-virulence
-hypochondria
-some bleeding/poison skills and some necro/mes degen
your whole team is practically suffering a constant -10 degen and the fragility and hypo spike tear everything appart. Not to mention the usual pressure and kd the wars give on monks.

remove fragility (hex removal etc)
remove deepwound (hard but possible)
interrupt the mesmer
get a heal
signet of humility
restore condition
pressure the mesmer
its powerful in RA but very limited.
Fragility (10e 5 sec recharge)
Phantom Pain (10e 15s recharge)
Shatter Delusions (5e 10s recharge)
Virlence (5e 15sec recharge)
Hypochondria (5e 10s recharge)
35e minimum of 10 second recharge
Various of these skills have 1 sec cast time or more. (yes I know about fast casting)
Thats 5/8 skills on your bar. Lose/interrupt any of them and the spike from it is severley crippled. Remove fragility and they are almost useless. You only have 3 slots left. One of them will be rez sig. Have 2 slots left. Not much left to help out the party by extra damage if frag is removed or limited self healing.

Adapt and think, dont cry nerf.
PS I play this quite often in RA/TA because its fun, but it is far from supreme. Its not that hard to shutdown. I get killed just as often as I kill with it.

Don't forget the Elite that does so much more lightblade:
Martyr
And there's Paragon Angelic Protection, anti-spike skill. Hex removals and communication when fragility is applied.
It doesn't take 1 spell to kill off the spike target. It takes a chain. Any of these spells can be countered or removed to shut that chain down.
That said, when it drops, it can be a very fast spike. Recharge times may need to be addressed to allow counters to keep up with it.
EDIT: Yes. Skills in Nightfall are going to change the metagame in a big way. But...isn't that the point?

His point being is that Hypocondria is bugged, and actually reapplys all the conditions on you before giving you new conditions. This is NOT noted in its skill desp. (that BTW, doesn't mention any effect on conditons already on you)
Its easy on a forum to say "Your a noob, heres 500000000 skills that counter it, cry more" But this is a retarded response since the same can be said about EVERY.SINGLE.STRATEGY.OR.SKILL Signet of Might had the same "500000000 skills that counter it." but it was obviously enough of a problem to debug (and even reroll the ladder because of its influence), and silly enough before the bug was addressed there were people in THOSE THREADS too saying stuff like "LAWL NUBS, Just Use Sig of Humility on the guy and stop crying"

lol I don't see a problem here. There are so many easy ways to counter the build. That's in RA, which means you're with people that aren't set up for the sort of thing. Lucky to even get a decent monk.
It won't be an issue imo...

Actually RA wasn't the biggest usage of this build, it was implimented into already strong condition builds in GvG.
Jas D, you also just reposted what I said everyone would post "Theres counters, stop crying" but the point isnt whether it WTFWNS anything it faces, the point is the Spell is bugged and its usage far exceeds what it was designed to do.

I dunno, I think that this will only be an issue in RA where you're less likely to get a monk. I was personally spiked out by Fragility, and it was brutal that a single mesmer could pull it off, but I doubt that if i'd had a competent monk then it wouldn't have happened. Purge conditions FTW?
