I am mixed on this as some like myself keep a char for guild reasons and it would be nice to have storage and when you reach a certian level say 5 or 6 visting the hall might be nice as well.It was never intended on staying in pre that long but some do why becuase they like it untill the presearing server is shut down or they change it to say new pre on Island close to LA.

Easy solution..nominate a certain amount of storage space to be used in pre (once a certain amount of spaces is designated they will not be allowed to be used for post chars and their items)
Pro's
You get storage for your newb chars
No high level items would be allowed in the designated slots
Con's
You lose valuable space for post sear chars
This idea will never happen as Chaper1 will get no more updates.

I think it only demonstrates just how shallow this game is that nobody in this thread even bothered to bring up the fact that a storage in Pre-searing with all your stowed items would make absolutely no sense for the plot.
The items you got from the Mursaat is available 2 years in the past? The prices of the traders have an influence on the market 2 years in the past? It's like a time-hole has been opened.

The word "scammer" gets thrown around too much these days.
If the seller does not know the true worth of the item they are selling then they are to blame. There is no reason why the seller couldn't use any of the available sources to seek information.

What about this then you get your own pre storage not tied in with your post storage. You get half the slots that there is in post and when you leave you lose it.If you rerole or make new char in pre you have to buy a new storage locker agian.

Perhaps a 'deposit' only storage option in Pre would work reasonably well. That way, you could just drop in whatever dye's you've gotten and be done with it.
No taking out money or that max damage 15^50 sword or axe to play with, just depositing what you've collected and want to keep without taking your character into post-searing.

Tons of "WTS XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
Seems somewhat odd to have Max Gold Req. 8 Vampiric Zodiac Sword of Fortitude in Pre...
Just ruins the peacefulness...and doesn't make sense that Pre should be able to connect with Post, as Pre is sort of a seperate story itself.

What I would like is a dye trader. It would also be nice to get the two other inventory bags, so I can keep carrying my dyes, crafting materials, collectors items for armor and an extra weapon with me and still being able to carry some loot as well

It's a great system currently, the newbies don't feel pressured into having the max gear and it feels like a game. Little to everyone's knowledge there's a whole other world outside of presearing where the big time is.

So you want items you aquired 2 years ahead in time, to be available to your Pre-searing character?
No, I think not.

It isn't there for many reasons, and those reasons far outweigh those to put it in there.

poor idea
Too many scams can be made. especially to really new people joining the game. That's what I don't understand about factions.
Why the hell did they make it possible to go back to noob Island and have storage there? Plus Factions players Lvl up to fast and dont really learn much where as in pre searing its a nice easy PEACEFUL place to learn.
Gotta Love Gwen, hope they bring her back. I feel like i gave her all them flowers, mended her flute and bought her a cape for nothing. She owes me! Stalking little.... *cough*... Yeah bad idea dude

Leave the Pre-Searing alone, it's fine as it is. It is a training area to learn the basics of the game. At least this way, new players do not feel like they MUST have the shiniest items out there.

QFT,
It makes absolutely no sense for Xunlai agents to have stuff "transported 2 years into the past/future". For that reasoning alone, this idea cannot be implemented.
