New idea of Pricing!
Guys look at the game on-line !! all time the gossips runs like water! the WTS and Selling Items runs like hell!! This is a mistake! Please put in all items the true prices in the balloon!!! In the shops still give it in a half or lower price! This must end! Do it like Lineage 2! if you are bored to do that please give it to me to do it! Maybe i can learn about the prices Or if you can't put it in the game, develop it in another program, I WILL BUY IT! or put it in the other Expansion (sounds good). Please help us about this. You cannot spam on a forum and ask for the prices .. you cannot ask anyone about prices (these answers are more personals).
The game is great but this, about the real prices of the items i think is a mistake please fix it.
Thank you for reading this,

Sorry to burst your balloon my dear: Ventari's Sell
This would kill the trading market; fluctuations of prices, coupled with popularity is part of the reason why people buy such items. Rarity is also a thing players strive for, the higher the price, the rarer the item, the lesser the supply, the rarity of the item. Otherwise everyone would be able to access everything and the effect of such would be lost.

first of all, pricing what?
if this is for any items, all items are different.
if its for the sake of affording cool skins - sorry but, you DONT require a nice skin, functionality is available to everyone.

ok i will agree with you about some ideas like the rarity of the items and
everyone would be able to access everything and the effect of such would be lost or the prices changes from week to week. you have right but what about the standards like a database which has all this attributes putted on and doesn't have to search all time and w8tting days to have an answer for it. I don't want to sell etc an item that costs 120k and give it about 70k which i didn;t noticed or somebody help me about how much exactly costs..
look an example i have post it...
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...49#post2069549
no answer
Etc about the bow you saw on this post.
Someone in my guild told me that costs about 60k.
Someone else from my ally told me that costs 100k higher..
Someone that like it very much and ask me how much costs when i told him about 50 to 60k he freak out and didn;t answering after that lol!
Someone else told me that costs about 15k because he wanted to cheat me!
What is the real truth ? {I am confused! that's the truth!}
This is what am i talking about and understand what is my problem about prices.. Any more easier way or a helpful tool or a database that you can set any attributes to have a standard price ? this would be very nice if there is
Thank you for reading this,

That bow is roughly 10k.
No such thing as a standard price. Value depends only on demand.

I think you're looking for an Auction House.
That would satisfy everyone, although hopefully with Inscriptions and choosable Mods, we'll get a Mod Merchant to at least keep the price of Mods down.

Well I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but in today's market items like the ones in your PC link are relatively worthless. If magically you are able to sell those they will go for no more than 5-10k if that. It is an unfortunate reality that an item pretty much has to have an absolutely perfect dmg mod to be able to sell it. The new Nightfall update that allows for inherent mods to be salvaged will fix this horribly broken economy and restore the value of the gold "rare" item market back to its intended state.

There is a link to the guru's auction at the top left of the page. Go there, register, browse it, post your items for sale. That's about as good as it comes without an in-game auction house/merchant system - which Anet has some sort of plans for.
As far as "standard in-game prices" there is no such thing for gold, green and other drops, only for items that the merchants buy and sell like dyes, runes and materials. The rest is all based on supply and demand, rarity and vanity - just as the other posters have been trying to tell you.

thank you all about my questions, i am completed from your answers now i can understand the system how works.. The stupid thing is that most of ppls that want to buy an item and you tell them offer price i don;t want this item, i wanna kill it because etc i am a necromancer and it is a bow for ranger (useless) and they don't want to say how much golds want to give this piss me off! you analyse the item you tell them the all exactly attributes and then he or them told you "oh i don't wanna buy it" or many times "no thanks" or no answer just leave.. lol this is so crazy..
Can anyone help me where to find any information, database or list with many rare items that you will see 1/1.000.000 ?
P.S. Wish me luck to have the best drops :P

in game local trading mimics a perfect example of non perfect competition... just like in real world, no matter how advanced technology is, you won't get how much SHOULD an item worth... it depends solely on buyer and seller...
imo it's good as it is...
