world of guild wars. warcraft has no real story as far as i can see, so it would make sence to take the game that has a better story, expand it, and put in mining an crafting skills.

yea cause mining and crafting is so much fun.
Make a high school stereotype game, where you can play as unique characters such as the nerd!! or the depressed goth loner!! Or the cool black guy!! You'd walk into a class and kill all the students and the teacher boss at the end, searching through the kids bags and teacher's briefcase for rewards!! Start out in kindergarden as a child and your character grows as you try to make it to college lol. Carefull of the bullies wandering the halls without a hall pass!! If you happen to be a hall monitor as one of your hobbies you can humiliate the bully infront of students for extra experience.
You unlock special abilities and skills as you graduate each grade!! And lunch time!!!! you guys don't even wanna know what happens at lunch time!!@#$

If GW and WoW combined...
youd get the colorful well developed environs and models of WoW and an un-instanced primary world so you can see others dashing around and plenty of world PvP but with no endless grind quests, with merchants that actually sold usefull items, with no bind on pickup items, with an open class skill system that didn't lock you into choices (and with lots of choices to make), with PvP that was balanced fair and made sense, with the option of hiring henchies so you don't have to spam LFG for half and hour then quit in frustration cuz you cant find a damned priest, with no 40+ man raids required that take hours to complete just to get some good items, without the headache hate and frustration that is WoW.

I hope they never do merge. Never!
I prefer Guild Wars' direction and do not want it to turn into another "grind through your levels, and pay every month to do it" type game.
Those types of games are a dime a dozen nowadays. No more!

they could make it free to just play the story and other stuff, but give you the option to pay a monthly fee if you want to have crafting and mining skills.
