You are being paradoxical here, you like assassin? so will like a lot my idea for a star weapon, no?

Also, they could add only 1 class per chapter, plus new attributes for excising ones.

/signed for more content and possible playable races.
/Not signed only if the new professions are well though out and unique rather than some half assed concept/job.

The new proffessions basically become more of the same things mixing elements of the existing core classes. Boring.

New professions keep pvp changing steadily so it doesn't get stale (and when anet fails by making 2 crap professions and tons of skills that nobody uses, they just change the pvp - note the gvg and HA changes). They add content to new expansions which keep anet funded. They're also money sinks to give players a place to spend lots and lots of money, battling inflation (2 new sets of 15k armor, 4 or more sets of weapons, dye, skills, runes, it adds up fast). I'd imagine in the future anet may make some expansions that don't include new professions (maybe some mini-expansions?), but I'd also not expect them to change their expansion recipe anytime soon either.

/notsigned

Say they add the new races - EG a Tengu and a Dwarf ... but no new professions for it, so you could make a Tengu Monk or a Dwarf Ranger and only make a Tengu Rit or Dwarf Dervish if you have GWF and GWN.
Then what? Then they'd have to A) add new professions or B) add more races...

The sujestion for adding new attrabutes would work, but it would only be feasable for one more expansion, maybe two at the most.

New proffesions are cool and all, but It would be nice tou have different KINDS of content added into the game. There are so many features, options & content they could add if they didn't spend time on the new classes.
