mysterious weapons
i cant find this suggestion , so i guess its not made yet:
weapons which have no attribute, they have: halves recharge and casting time of no attribute spells
every profession will get its own mysterious weapon, or other name:P, and they need to be at a special profession quest or mission, so that warrior gets sword, axe or hammer, ranger gets bow etc.
they only have req <primary attribute> so that those spells will be a lil more useful, most of you might dislike this idea, or maybe even hate it, but i thought about it even before factions was released, but its time to show everyone now
i hope you'll like it
ps. sorry that i'm not online much, but playing guildwars can be so fun that i wont quit playing :P

There are sans-req weapons; they just aren't max dmg.
I think these would just screw up the weapon market too much. We still have the greens that are all the rage; throw this in there and we have chaos. If they were max no req with half recharge/casting that'd be a bit overpowered.

lol, why chaos? this is for no attribute spells only, its new and will be useful for those spells, besides, it wont harm the weapon market, these weapons wont be used much, i think, anyway, i dont see a real problem here, these weapons must have: max dmg, req 9 primary attribute, halves recharge and casting of no attribute spells and should be green, you can't change anything about it, so no use of upgrades, also there should be 1 of these weapons for each character of each account, so you can only get 1 in the game for each character and i'm not sure of customizing them, this should arenanet decide , but it'll be great to see something for the "no attributes" because i've never seen anything like this, those no-attributes wont be used much, except for res signet
i dont think people will use them much so they wont be worth much anyway, and if it'll be customized there wont be changed anything to the weapon market, no problem at all
i now will put this suggestion on gameamp, maybe they'll like it

The bonuses for 1/2 cast and 1/2 recharge of spells are general and affect any spell, which is not the same as any skill. Signets, skills, mantras, etc are not affected by these modifiers.
Seems like a worthless item to me, what's the advantage of it?

Couldn't you fix your lvl 3 warrior up with a 11-22 no attrib blade, and then have it relatively pwn ascalon? I dunno about this.

Not really, since your attribute level still impacts the damage output.
<12 = less damage
12 = listed damage
>12 = increased damage
So an 11-22 sword with 6 in Swordsmanship still could do as much damage as say a 10-14 sword.
Er, wait, they would be based on the primary attribute so it would be a strength requirement on a sword with fast cast/recharge for spells with no attribute requirements.
Bleh, why bother? I give up.

it's just an idea for fun, not for pvp or very hard to do missions, just using for farming or testing no attribute spells, think about it as an extra fun weapon, lil more fun and testing them, i bet some users will like them, it's not a serious weapon, lol , also about req, it can be made for lvl 20 only, so that people which won't use primary attributes can use them too, and made for no attribute skills only, and make the halve recharge and casting instead of 10% just like 20%
i also must say that i see games as things which are for fun, not to be serious all the time, so this is 1 thing for fun, also if it's not right what i'm saying, then why did they make yule caps, candy cane weapons and those other event stuff? most are useless, so this too is for fun

actually candy cane weaps are useful tho rarely,
specially the shield is 10 armor with no reqs, so basicly any caster would get +10 armor off it without changing their sec prof to warrior, i really wonder why these arent used more as energy hide sets

Because green fans have 5 armor, 30 health and can hide 5 energy more than peppermint shield.
