Default Concept class: The Deathknight

DEATHKNIGHT


Another boring and totally conventional concept from me. It can hardly be even considered to have come from me
since it's minaly stolen from other games. This kind of class has been seen a thousand times over,
but I don't care if it has. I'm presenting it so you may ridicule it and me, because it is such a brambly mess.
In fact, I must be mentally deranged to come up with anything so laughably impotent as a Deathknight.
I mean, it's pathetic. You could say it at least has a boring primary attribute line compared to the rest, but really,
that'd just be being courteous and trying to hide that fact that no matter what, it all around abysmal.

The Deathknight, lol, yeah, the Deathknight wields a two-handed sword, don't check the attack skill, they suck.
With it he attempts to dislodge vital body parts and inflict physical pain onto his enemies. Or allies, cos you know,
the Deathknight is just a mentally challenged as its creator.
Then after it has failed with the unwieldy and cumbersome fighting mechanic, there's two additional attribute lines
to draw uninspiration from.

The Corruption line, what a cliché name, sue me, gives him the ability for some mediocre damage and poor effects.
Yeah, don't need to mention, it's just a touch ranger with heavy shortcomings and flaws.
I suggest you skip over it completely.

Next up is the Resilience attribute line, the name speaks for itself. Or would if it knew how to spell, since it or
me never went to any schools and are illiterate buffoons thinking too much of themselves.
So, in a word, it's bleh.

The last attribute line has no related skills, only a big bunch of goo associated with it.
I mean, it's totally overpowered, you can't Sever+Gash this class to the purest effect.

The cost of skills. Where does he get all his energy, or adrenaline? Don't ask me, I don't know.
I already said it's a total plagiary.


CORRUPTION
No inherent effect. Skills related to causing suffering onto your victims and
inducing horror and defiling epitomes of power become more effective with higher Corruption.

UNHOLY POWER - PRIMARY
Decreases the effects of health degeneration by 1 for every 4 ranks in this attribute with 4 ranks and above.
In addition for 3 ranks and above you have 3% more health. For 8 ranks and above you have 8% more health.
For 13 ranks and above you have 13% more health.

RESILIENCE
No inherent effect. Skills related to self preservation and health gain become more
effective with higher Resilience.

TWO-HANDED SWORD MASTERY
Increases the damage you deal with attack skills in this attribute line by
1% per attribute point. Skills devoted to mastering the art of using heavy two-handed swords
become more effective with higher Two-handed Sword Mastery.

CORRUPTION


Touch of Weakness
5 EN 3/4 SEC 7 SEC HEX
Target touched foe becomes Weakened and takes +1..4..9 physical damage for 10 seconds.


Withering touch
10 EN 3/4 SEC 12 SEC HEX
Target touched foe is hexed with Withering touch for 4 seconds. The next time target foe uses a skill,
they begin to lose 1 energy each second for 4..8..11 seconds.
If that foe did not use skills while under this hex, you suffer -4 health degeneration for 12..7..5 seconds.


Shadow embrace
10 EN 3/4 SEC 15 SEC HEX
For 10 seconds the next time target touched foe takes damage,
they take 12..27..34 additional shadow damage and you suffer -3 health degeneration for 12..7..4 seconds.


Contagion
15 EN 3/4 SEC 20 SEC HEX
All disease and poison effects on target touched foe are renewed and
all foes adjacent to that foe begin to suffer -1..3..5 health degeneration for 2..5..8 seconds.


Ruin
10 EN 3/4 SEC 15 SEC SKILL
Target touched foe is knocked down and loses one Enchantment.
If a Monk enchantment was removed, that foe takes 31..65..74 shadow damage.


Energy feed
10 EN 3/4 SEC 20 SEC HEX
For 8..16..21 seconds whenever target touched foe casts a spell you gain 1..2..2 energy.
If that foe had any Enchantments on them while casting a spell you steal up to that amount from that foe instead.


Shadowfury
10 EN 3/4 SEC 20 SEC HEX
For 8 seconds the next time target touched foe attacks or uses a skill
you begin to attack 33% faster for 2..6..11 seconds.


Grim reach
10 EN 3/4 SEC 10 SEC SKILL
Target touched foe becomes Crippled for 3..7..10 seconds and you move 25% faster.


Demonic strenght
10 EN 0 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
For 6..11..14 seconds your attacks strike for +5 damage if they hit.


Demonic knowledge
10 EN 0 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
For 6..11..14 seconds you gain 1 energy whenever you hit with an attack.


Suppress
10 EN 1/4 SEC 20 SEC SKILL
Target touched foe is interrupted. If that foe was casting a spell, that foe cannot cast spells for 1..3..4 seconds.


Vampiric embrace
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 20 seconds your next 1..5..9 attacks steal 1..5..7 health from foes.


Corruptive seeds
15 EN 3/4 SEC 15 SEC HEX
Target touched foe is afflicted with Corruptive seeds.
After 7 seconds these seeds expire and deal 31..78..86 shadow damage to all adjacent foes.
If Corrupted seeds is removed, the seeds will expire but only deal half damage.


Bloodrage
5 EN 3/4 SEC 20 SEC SKILL
If target touched foe is bleeding, you attack 25% faster for 3..8..14 seconds but cannot enter a stance.


Void siphon
10 EN 3/4 SEC 30 SEC HEX
For 30 seconds, whenever target foe uses a skill, you steal up to 6..16..21 health from that foe.


Mind rot
10 EN 3/4 SEC 30 SEC HEX
Target touched foe experiences -1 energy degeneration for 3..7..10 seconds.
When this Hex ends, that foe takes 12..18..24 shadow damage for each spell they have.


Agony
10 EN 3/4 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
If target touched foe has any hexes on them you steal up to 2 energy and up to 13..18..21 health
from that foe for each Hex. If you steal 5..8..10 or more energy, you are knocked down.


Touch of Pain
15 EN 3/4 SEC 25 SEC HEX
Target touched foe experiences -4 health degeneration for 5..9..13 seconds.
If you were experiencing any Health degeneration or regeneration, that foe takes 12..34..46 damage.


Bane touch
15 EN 3/4 SEC 20 SEC HEX
Target touched foe takes 30..67..79 shadow damage. For 8 seconds all damage done to that foe is increased by 8%.


Degenerating fury
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 8..12..15 seconds you experience -5 health degeneration but attack 33% faster.


Defile protections
10 EN 3/4 SEC 10 SEC SKILL
Target touched foe loses 1..2..2 Enchantments and you suffer -8..6..3 health degeneration for 10 seconds.


Projected Agony
5 EN 1 SEC 15 SEC SKILL
You experience -8..5..4 health degeneration for 5 seconds. All adjacent foes take 14 shadow damage each second.


Malice
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 10 seconds you experience -3 health degeneration when attacking, but you also have a 20%
chance to cause your targets to begin bleeding and take +4..9..12 damage with each hit.

Life pact
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 20 seconds, the next 2..7..10 attacks made against you steal up to 7..15..18 health from the attacker.
If your attacker was suffering any conditions, you steal twice the amount.


Darkened suffrage
10 EN 1/4 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 6 seconds the next time you are hit in melee, all adjacent foes
become blinded for 2..7..9 seconds and you lose 1..2..2 conditions.


Bloodlust
10 EN 1/4 SEC 30 SKILL
If you are suffering a condition, for 10 seconds, you take 15%..30%..50% less damage
from attacks. This effect ends if you have any Enchantments on you.


Nether bond
10 EN 0 SEC 15 SEC SKILL
For 6 seconds you gain +2..6..10 health regeneration but take double damage.
This effect ends if you lose more than 50% health, and you are healed for 12..34..48 health.


Nether protection
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 3..9..15 seconds, every 3 seconds, if you take damage, that damage is negated.


Negate conditions
15 EN 1/4 SEC 30 SEC SPELL
You lose all conditions. For each one lost you gain 8..22..30 health.


Dark heart
10 EN 1/4 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 4..8..10 seconds all damage done to you is decreased by 50% but you can
only experience health regeneration or degeneration.


Hellscream
15 EN 3/4 SEC 15 SEC SPELL
All adjacent foes are knocked down and for each condition suffered by those foes, you gain 8..12..16 health.


Demon armor
10 EN 1 SEC 20 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 20 seconds you have +12..30..40 armor but you attack 30% slower and gain 30% less from healing.


Shadow armor
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 12 seconds whenever you take damage all attacking foes adjacent to you take 12..24..35 shadow damage.
If you have less than 50%..76%..90% health, you move 25% faster for 6 seconds.


Armor of Blood
10 EN 1/4 SEC 6 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 10 seconds whenever you take more than 60 damage you gain 1%..8%..10% of your maximum health.


Cheat fate
5 EN 1/4 SEC 25 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 10 seconds, the next damage you take that would be fatal is negated.
If you have any other Enchantments on you, adjacent foes are knocked down.


Absorb arrows
10 EN 1/4 SEC 30 SEC ENCHANTMENT
For 10..14..16 seconds you take 75% less damage from arrow attacks. This effect ends if you use attack.


Blood retaliation
5 EN 0 SEC 25 SEC STANCE
For 6 seconds the next time you are hit with an attack, the attacker begins
bleeding and takes +8..12..15 damage from all sources for 8 seconds.

If this attack hits and target foe was attacking, that foe is knocked down and takes +12..18..21 damage.
If that foe was not attacking, that foe becomes Dazed for 3 seconds instead.


Devastating swing
7 AD ATTACK
Target foe and 2 adjacent foes take +12..18..21 damage.


Rotting swing
8 AD ATTACK
For each condition suffered by target foe you strike for +2..6..12 damage.
If that foe was suffering from disease as well, this damage is doubled.


Woundstrike
8 AD ATTACK
Target foe suffers a Deep wound for 10 seconds if this attack hits.
If that foe has any Enchantments on them, this attack deals double damage.


Rending strike
6 AD ATTACK
Target foe begins bleeding for 5..10..13 seconds and takes +8..14..18 damage.


Overpowering swing
7 AD ATTACK
This attack cannot be blocked. If this attack hits, target foe takes +12..18..21 damage.
If it is evaded target foe is knocked down.


Mortal strike
8 AD ATTACK
If target foe has any Hexes on them, they suffer a Deep wound for 10 seconds
and you hit that foe with one additional swing for each condition on them. .


Whirlwind
10 AD ATTACK
All adjacent foes lose 1 energy and take +8..12..14 damage if this attack hits.


Double swing
7 AD ATTACK
Target foe is hit twice by this attack if it hits. The first hit deals +8..12..15 damage.


Concussing swing
6 AD ATTACK
Target foe is Dazed for 5 seconds if this attack hits.
If you are suffering a condition, this attack deals +8..14..17 damage.


Pierce armor
10 EN 0 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
For 7..10..13 seconds your Two-handed sword attacks have 25% armor penetration.
If you have any Enchantments on you, you lose -20 armor.


Execute
10 AD ATTACK
If target foe was below 50% health, this attack deals +22..38..56 damage if it hits.
If you have more health than target foe, you lose health equal to the damage of this attack.


Raging slam
5 AD ATTACK
Slam your hilt at target foe. If that foe was not moving, that foe is knocked down.
If you are Weakened, you are knocked down instead.


Reckless swing
7 AD ATTACK
If target foe was suffering a condition, that foe has a Deep wound for 5..10..15 seconds.
If that foe has more than 50% of their health remaining, you lose -20 armor for 10 seconds.


Slicing swing
8 AD ATTACK
This attack strikes 50% slower but deals +20..31..45 damage if it hits lowering target foe's
armor by 4..8..12 for 8 seconds.


Sinister strike
7 AD ATTACK
Strike at target foe with the blade of your Two-hander. If this attack hits, that foe
becomes Crippled for 10 seconds and takes +12..18..22 Slicing damage.


Rupturing swing
10 AD ATTACK
Target foe loses 4%..7%..11% maximum health if this attack hits and begins bleeding for 8..10..13 seconds.


Unrelenting swing
5 AD ATTACK
You move 15% slower for 3 seconds. If this attack hits it deals
triple damage to any Enchanted foe. This attack cannot be blocked or evaded.


Mutilating strikes
8 AD ATTACK
Strike at target foe and 2 adjacent foes twice. If those foes were suffering any conditions
this attack cannot be blocked or evaded.


Serrated blade
10 EN 1 SEC 30 SEC SKILL
For 5..12..17 seconds your attacks cause foes hit by them to begin bleeding for 10 seconds.

Too close to a hammer warrior/necro. Dont get me wrong nice idea and all, it just wont get used ritualist, assasin, dervish, paragon... warrior/necro? don't think so

the name doesn't really match guild wars.. it sounds like some sort of boss off of a different game.... think about the current prof names.. ranger, warrior, necromancer, elementalist, assassin, ritualist, paragon, dervish, mesmer, monk...

the names are quite common in gaming.. try and think of more.. also, this is too much of a sacrificing prof.. most of the skills do alot of problems to the guy who uses them.. even though most of skills do this on gw.. this is just hard to the guy who's attacking and not nearly enough to do such a sacrifice.
