8v8 Faction Battles.
I know I am not alone in my frustration with the 8v8 Faction Battles in the past month. Between the cross faction griefers and the afk/botting leechers there is rarely a game when you have a full team playing to win.
Time and time again botters/leechers get reported from myself and countless others yet nothing seems to change, and finally one of the responces i received said to goto a fansite and post about this issue.
I am looking for ideas from everyone that reads this. We need to hurl massive amounts of suggestions at ANet to fix this issue. Game after game you are fighting against insane odds because 5/8 people are afk and leeching away.
Please post whatever suggestions you may have on how to resolve this, Thanks.

I dont think there is much they can do except make it team required but that would most likely kill those areas.

My own suggestion/idea.
Please expand on anything you have to say about my suggestions:
I think there should be a system where you can send a Whisper to some kind of designated group of people (anets representatives ingame), like a live help system, where you can submit a ticket pointing out a griefer/leecher. I am unsure how this can be refined so that it isnt spammed or abused, but knowing that you dont have to open a browser, then goto guildwars.com/support, then choosing your location, then submitting your question/report will promote the reporting of people breaking the ToS.

I agree that making these areas into a team fight would destroy their purpose, but I guess I dont see how hard it can be to enforce some authority here.
There has to be a method (i dont care if the idea is borrowed from some other game/service) that will either discourage or completely kill the population that abuses these faction battles.
Something like enforcing an auto-afk function where if you dont move for a set amount of time your automatically removed from the queue to get in, or if you get in and dont move for periods of time you are flagged and someone can check you out.

You can't just attempt to filter out ppl during the waiting, cos they could very well be waiting there as well, and then afk after the game starts.
Part of the problem that prevents resolution of this is the fact that there is still no way to join an instance that has already started. Once they actually managed to implement that, it'll be easier to resolve this.
Any character in such a mission who becomes idle for, say, 5 minutes will get kicked, and someone else waiting be brought in. 5 minutes isn't harsh. It's sufficient to get trivial real life distractions resolved. If you need more than 5 minutes, it's only courteous that you let someone actually waiting for a game to play instead.

thanks
I appreciate your view and the finality of it, because it makes complete sense. Now my next question is how is this going to change anything? The responce i got from anet was to figure this out on a suggestions board. Do they have active people who go over these boards? Is there some place i can send this to help the process along?
