What you would like see next in Guild wars?
hopefully this will be a suggestion thread gathering up aaaall the suggestions...this will be much more convinient!
my suggestions:
1. that u will be able to use 7 heros not only 3...because it can be way more fun to actually choose what everyones skills will be instead of the henchies having their own set of skills...
2. Anet should make a place where u can get sunspear promo points even AFTER you beat the game
well...those are mine xD...next :P

1 > More storage, whether paying once for extra storage slots or for free
2 > Hair dresser for the characters. Everyone in a while has his/her hair done.
3 > Pet zoo for Rangers. Why can't a Ranger have multiple pets at home and only take one in a battle?
4 > Armor closet. Pumpkin, X-mas, Dragon headpieces and normal armor is using all my inventory. Who has more than one suit at home? and most ladies have several outfits for each kind of meeting.
5 > Some kind of an auction home. Easy selling and buying unwanted/wanted items
6a > Let us name our heroes ourselves
6b > Let us use our other characters as our heroes. I have several character fully equipped etc. Why wasted my time with levelling a hero?
7 > Did we coumt how many different keys there are? I lost the count. Let us get all the key in one Key Ring. It would save space.
8 > Weapon house. My ranger has 7 bows, Hornbow, Recurvebow, Shortbow, Longbow, Flatbow, one +5 energy and one -5 energy bow. Mostly I am using 1 to 3 bow within one battle. Carrying all the bows is such a waste.
9 > Voice communication ingame instead of using TS/Vent
10 > Ingame games. What were a game without a good and satisfied community? I mean, sometimes, we are hanging out in GW and sitting pretty. We could play poker, chess or other games in the meantime and earn a title. Chessmaster or Pokerface are of course funny titles ;-)
11 > Interactive quests. Players ingame design quests and give rewards instead of doing repeatitive quests. Endless quests possibilities! This is gonna push the PvE part forward to the unknown and even more interesting than PvP/GvG imho.
Don't take this point lightly. As far as I know there is no single RPG/MMORPG that has really interactive quests/missions. There are some games (no names please) that try to do this but failed, methinks. So if GW succeed this as a first game with interactive quests/missions this will be the cornerstone for all future RPGs
12 > Day-Night and Weather conditions just like in real life. For example, 18:00 GMT would be like evening or 13:00 would be full light.
13 > An Offline version of GW that is completely incompatible with the online version, but with the same features. (Not for me, but a good friend of me suggested this).
14 > Quick and simple switching over your profession slots without logging off and logging in again.
15 > As far as I know GW is still running as a 32 bits game, when shall I pass to the 64 bits version?
16 > Linux version support! In my opinion Linux is a more stable operatning system than Windows.

-Choosing to be good or evil
-Make it feel more multiplayer.. maybe it's because there's 10 ppl in an outpost and all are using hench/heroe's, if I want a singleplayer game, I play Oblivion. I'm starting to miss pugs lol...

- Auction house like in World Of Warcraft
- More storage space ==> Fee or free
--> Storage space is enough for one char but when having mutilple char's the space isn't big enough.

1. Improve a wide selection of exsisting skills which don't see any effective play because they are far to weak to occupy a skill slot instead of the useful skills.
2. Add a working Z-axis or hieght recognition so characters do not clash with overhead units and can't melee and touch enemies on entirely different hieghts then them.
3. Make Vendors or traders for all the Weapon insignias and mods to provide better access to more items and provide an alternative to "Player to Player" trade, not a tool for Players to gouge prices even more.
4. Add more inventive mechanics like the Hero system in every chapter, we damn sure pay for it. More stuff like Climbing terrains and skills, Swimming terrains and Sailing your own ship (exploration of the seas with perhaps your Guild), New Playable Creatues instead of a continuous stream of Profession classes, and any number of other improvements which actually add something to the exsisting game engine for the entirely new game cost we pay every chapter which only really gains us an expansion.

You know very well that a business like ANet can't permit not to bring out new chapters.
And a bit vague. 'balance the game' is about as detailed as 'save the world'.

1) Let pvp players choose between hearty-elder - dire pet.
2) watch the number of skills per profession. having 150 skills for 6 core and 75 for chapter 4 seems off.
3) be able to scrimmage on every GvG map you want, not only your own map.
4) make the camera-angle that centers always on what you cast upon optional.

Bigger party sizes more often would be fun. Also, maybe have a few challenge missions where you can only take melee classes or caster classes. I'd love to have a party of 8 warriors just tear through a field of enemies, like in the Dynasty Warriors games.

Some may have been already mentioned
-Playing non-human characters.
-Locations based within sky cities, joined by bridges and teleporters.
-Giving multiple choices about how to behave i.e if kill someone instead of freeing them, it has consiqences later on.
-Turning good or bad (due to your actions) has an effect on the kind of armor you can purchase and the armor colours, i.e black and white base colours (can be dyed later on, but would have distinctive good or evil look).
-Giant pets :P
-One or two new Hero(es) per continent.
-Helmets or masks or tattoos for elemtenal armor.
-Insignia or focus items which effects the look of Elemental armor, i.e the pyromancer one will cause animated flames to apear on the armor.
-Ability to transfer skill points between your own characters. i.e incase one has dozens it doesnt need.
-A storyline which allows us to see our gods, and interact with them on a biblical scale.
-Either a new profession which lets you change into animals (Diablo2) or a ranger skill which allows you to do so.

yaay this is going well xD btw sakura i don't think idea 13 and 6a > and 6b > are good....cause the name of the hero is good for the plot...and offline version would suck xD,and the heros need to be plot related xD and btw the good/evil thing doesn't really suit a-net and wouldn't be so cool (my opinions) but the rest where aweome guys!!! comon people post yr ideas step right up!!
Edit: i like your ideas freakedoutfish :P and yeah morpher proff would rock xD and so would a "get to know your gods" chapter xD instead of the damn envoys in factions :P

that was beautifull :P i personally didn't really mind the gates xD but u right...different monsters should act in different ways...and hell they got ALOT of bugs to fix!
examples: (so that if anet see this (they "check the forums daily") they can see some bugs)
1. To the Rescue mission (or something like that) is the mission when u rescue koss from the korians...well anet...it took me 7 tries to get the gate to open!!
2. there are alot of places where my character just gets stuck and the command /stuck doesn't get me out xD (like a basket of fruit in the settelment in mhentari keys)
3. probably much much more

An announcement that they are doing well enough financially to delay it for 3-6 months.
Seriously I have so much to do now I'm not going to be ready for another chapter in a measly 6 months and don't want sales to suffer just because I and the others like me aren't ready yet.

A lot of issues still need to be addressed (broken skills, heroway, just look at any of the forums), but overall I am very pleased with ANET and think Nightfall >>>> Factions . Factions gave us a spirit spammer and a ganker, Nightfall gave us 2 legitimate main party characters. The paragon has already made a huge impact and the dervish is only a matter of time (dV is a little ahead of the crowd with their 3 R/D pressure build). In general though-for all classes-this season has introduced much more new and creative builds than I have seen in GW for a long time.
