Concept Class: The Artificer
Name: The Artificer
Lore: Artificers are spellcasters that do not use their magics to directly affect the battlefield but instead they channel their magic through lifeless objects creating powerfull artifacts.
Gameplay: The Artificer doesn't cast spells to directly harm or heal their targets. Instead they use powerfull spells to for example harden the armor of an ally or to weaken the blade of an enemy. They can also call on powerfull golems to aid them in their fights.
Attributes:
- Creation, primary attribute. All your artifact spells last 1% longer for each rank of Creation. Skills affecting all your artifacts are linked to this attribute.
- Weapon Channeling. No inherent effect, all skills linked to increasing or decreasing the strength of weapons are linked to this attribute.
- Armor Channeling. No inherent effect, all skills linked to increasing or decreasing the strength of armors are linked to this attribute.
- Golem Channeling. Each rank of Golem Mastery increases the maximum HP of your golem by 1. You can have a maximum of 1 golem active at any time. All skills linked to your golems are affected by this attribute.
Examplary spells:
Master of Artifacts {E}, stance, for 5...8...10 seconds whenever an artifact spell cast by you would end that spell is immediatly refreshed for it's full duration, 10E, 0CT, 60R. ( Attribute: Creation )
Ether Weapon, Artifact spell, for 5...12...15 seconds target ally's weapon is turned into an Ether Weapon. The Ether Weapon deals no damage but increases that Ally's energy regen by 1, 10E, 1CT, 30R.
Molten Armor, Artifact spell, for 2...5...8 seconds target enemies armor is turned into molten armor. Molten armor has 60AL ( +40 vs. fire damage ) and that foe is set on fire every second Molten Armor is active, 15E, 2CT, 15R
Diamond Golem, Artifact spell, for 30...60...75 seconds you control a lvl 5...20...25 Diamond Golem. This Golem Heals every ally below 50% health for 10...40...50 HP every 10 seconds, 25E, 3CT, 120R.
So, what do you think
Ow for those that didn't notice yet. Artifacts replace the weapon of your target, they create a completely new weapon for the duration ( does not exist in inventory, only as spell effect. ) So they're not the same as spirit weapons wich only add a certain effect to your weapon.
