I run a guild website that is membership based so only members can see various posts and activites. I would use the status to see who left and then remove them from my site, but now it is almost imposible to do as my membership usually hovers around 90 or so members.

PLEASE bring it back.

I too liked this feature as a guild leader. It really helped with keeping track of the guild. We also base access to our guild forums on membership, so I was really dissapointed to see this feature go. I personally never bothered to contact a member who left, as they were the one to decide to leave in the first place, but there is a thing called the ignore list.

No, no it's not privacy. It's a 2-way street. You joined a guild, a guild recruited you. You left the guild, but hopefully not like a thief in the night.

Guild Leaders need to know when people leave, this feature needs to be placed back in the system.

-yes, the Guild Leader may want to /whisper the person and inquire

-yes, a Guild Leader may just want a running record that can be viewed at log on in order to keep website guild rosters correct and other things

-yes, it's a no brainer, you announce in guild news that someone joins the guild, you announce when they leave the guild

Constant Guild Hoppers can be a nuisance and Guild Alliances may like to track that information between themselves.

BTW I read that this was an intended change but didn't get in the update notes.

Privacy? How so?

I left a guild once because no one was active (i'm talking a week or more before i saw another member) and after i left, one of the officers whispered me and asked why i left. I told them. and then got a load of explitives and insults for leaving. told her thank you and welcome to ignore. joined a better guild. Heres the thing though, there are scammers out there and lots of them.
its nice to post on the ally website who scammed so the other members can watch out for them.

Also we had someone in my guild go off on another player. they were kicked by our leader but the officers where not on at the time so we never knew it happened until later. I would like to see a Kicked as well as a Left log.

/signed - I have no idea why they took this out to begin with. You notice your numbers drop by one or two and rack your brains wondering who left. I can only imagine how bigger guilds cope conpared to our smaller one. 0_o

That is the best reason why it should be back.

For those who dont want it because of the flames: maybe join a more mature guild, there are many guilds out there that are very mature, or put them on your ignore list for a few days, then remove them...not too hard to do.

Bring this feature back as it was (i.e. the name is viewable to all guild members). People who leave without any good reason is bad for the guilds morale anyway, whether it reads in the guild status or not. At least in small guilds people will quickly notice who is missing.
