Concept Class - Votary
Votary
‘An Ancient Aztec Priest’
Votary's worship the Sun God and derive great power directly from the sun through worship and sacrifice. They use the souls of the enemy to appease the Gods, and drain their energy and health to gain benefits for their party and themselves. They lead the people of their religion forward in battle with great prayers to the gods, and aid their efforts in battle with worship and godly given attacks.
Attributes:
Godly Conduit
For every point in Godly Conduit the player receives 5 extra health every time they use a skill I.E. A player with level 12 Godly Conduit will receive 60 health whenever they use a skill
Sacrifice
No inherit effect. Many Votary skills especially those related to exploiting health from enemies , become more effective with higher Sacrifice.
Worship
No inherit effect. Many Votary skills especially those related to boosting their parties attacks and skills, become more effective with higher Worship.
Revenge
No inherit effect. Many Votary skills especially those related to dealing godly damage to the enemy, become more effective with higher Worship
Stats:
Armour:
Similar to an elementalist, maybe slightly lower
Weapons:
Slightly Unique Weapon Type - In that it is a staff/sceptre like weapon, yet it has the range of something more like a med-longbow, so the Votary can get a larger view of the battlefield to aid his allies. The downfall of this though is the weakness of the staff’s attack.
I’m fairly new at this but I was wondering what your thoughts on the class would be before I really put it into too much depth
Thnx

Its not bad.
I do like the theme of a Aztec Priest, there are potental there.
The attribute layout seem nice, with a well balance of offensive and support.
Godly Conduit is too powerful, especially in use with fast recharge skills.
I like Sacrifice, but would say need further conditions and constrains and effects to differ it more from other hp damaging skills.
The other two, unless link to a unique factor (like a new skill type or game mechanics), would else feel a bit flat.
As it stand, feel much like a Necro+Monk+Rituralist. Not much wrong with that, but do need a new playing mechanic to tie it together better and to feel play more differntly.
Welcome to the fourm... hope to see more well put work.

As the above user said, Godly conduit is WAY to powerful. Two, maybe three, health makes much more sense and wouldn't totally break the game.
Since you don't have any skills in mind, I don't really have any opinion other than that. I am wondering, though, why another aztec build pops up three days after I post mine, the Quezitlan.

I genuinely have not seen your character that you made but i thought of this build myself really based on the probabitlity of a south-american themed 4th game
