Scouts in the way
It would be good if if was changed so that scouts/acolytes/priests did not body block in pve. It isn't so bad if its just you being blocked, you know to move manually around them. But I've had npcs/heroes/henches/pets that get caught and you have to manually move back and behind to get them to follow you again. Or changes to AI so it recognises them as terrain or something so they'll go around.

Yes, I have the problem too.... they trap Hench/hero behinds, as well as Quest NPCs.
Also Komire (in the last few missions) sometime does body trap too...

I think you are right that heroes and henches should automatically recognize they are stuck and go around... or even when you target an enemy and press the spacebar only to have your player get stuck on another player (which is merely a nuisance because you can muanually move your player around). This is a more serious problem where pets get stuck for builds that rely on Beast Mastery since there's no simple was as far as I know of recalling your pet until either the target is dead or the blocking object moves.
Your initial proposal of "scouts/acolytes/priests" not body-blocking in PvE altogether, imo is a step backwards since I think it looks very unprofessional when objects in the game are able to simply walk through each other (which, in many areas still happens). I think improving the AI to overcome this problem is the way to go.

Yeah, walking through is unprofessional, was thinking more along the line of brush past. I'd rather they change the AI to register the scouts as terrain so the henches/heroes/pets/npcs would just go around them rather than get caught on them. Was wishing for a /shove command, the number of times they've blocked my party just makes me crazy.
Kormir too, sometimes in the middle of torment, you're there and going to attack something, then you find yourself blocked and have to go around since you didn't realise Kormir was standing there. Yeah, not nice to shove a blind person, but she'd seriously tempt me

Yup, already told in other thread talking about the same.
Make "follow the player" and "bodyblock" NPC status exclusive between themselves.
