Begging for Hero Storage... lol hear me out!
I love the Hero thing -- I have a suggestion though -- Not sure where i submit suggestions -- I'll try submitting this thru guildwars main site -- that support staff thing later.
Similar to how we could purchase an "upgrade" to our Storage for Materials -- why not do something for Heros? It could just be a regular storage skin -- just 20 empty spaces for us to use... or it could be a little more elaborate.... maybe divided out by Class (necro, elementalist, warrior weapons/offhands) or even divided out by Req (Domination, Fire, Smite, Tactics...). We could just -- fill in that spot for Curses, or for Inspiration. And i dont know much about game creation -- but it feels like it would just be adding another database to storage.
The reason i'm asking is because -- when heros first came out -- i quickly did the math for storage needed for each hero...having their own set of weapons/offhands -- and it's huge lol I can barely fit stuff for my own characters right now -- not counting as many as (how many heros total?) per each character...
So -- What i'm doing is to swap items between my heros. I have 1 set of Necro Death weap/offhand, 1 set for Curses -- 1 monk set for Prot, one for healing... yada yada. I leave htem all in my storage and just swap them out when i need that item for a hero.
I thought htis was rather smart -- until i realized my storage is filled with items i only use for my heros... (feels like they are taking over my game :P ) But if we had a specific hero storage -- only for weap/offhands -- that would save me from having to buy ... yet another storage account for my chars lol
Anyways, just my 2 cents -- I dunno if this idea has already been submitted or not ... It prolly has.

You might be on to sompthing here, but it is likely that most give there heroes one weapon and one build, and stick to it,in wich case there isnt much to store.
So what one would have to know to determine its usefullness is:How many people have multiple weapons/offhands/shields for there heroes and how many one stick to one weapon/offhand/shield per hero?

So far I've only been using one set of weapons on my heroes, and I haven't seen the need to bring multiple sets of equipment for any of them. But I do agree, there are people who are using lots of weapons for their heroes, and there should be a place to store them.

hmm, i switch my necro and monk heros the most.
Example: if one guildie is bringing his hero to help level him up -- he's set to MM
I have a necro as well that needs to be leveled up -- so i set him to SS.
there 2 sets of weapons right there.
You're definitely right about finding out the demand for this. I know my guild mates don't post much -- but they are starting to do the same thing i am actually. It cuts down on cost/effort in getting new hero weapons/offhands and keeps it so that your heros are doing the most they possibly can. Just doesn't seem right to me to stick just anything on my hero -- what i'm putting on them may not be expensive, but it certainly fits their build. The more damage the better. And if i can save some space and time - that would be great. Especially since we can save our builds now -- this feels like the next logical step to me.

In that case I'd just have him using the wrong req weapon. Cause I could care less he isn't suppose to be doing damage with his wand, but you want the 20/20 type thing don't ya. Well I'd just throw a 10/10 on there and leave it be. I have to adapt my hero's to how much storage I have, I don't give them the upper hand really, if they have to have crappy weapons because I don't have room then so be it.

Just a belt pouch worth of space for each hero would be incredible.

Thank god for preorders, lol. Koss still uses his starter gear, just because I'm too lazy/cheap to equip him 'correctly'

lol yeah i had nothin but starter weapons on mine in the beginning as well... i just felt so bad for them -- had to give them at least something decent.. plus, yes, the 20/20 or even 10/10 casting/recharge bonus's improve their dmg remarkably... but, even mine don't have that.
I'm actually happy for more purple chests now -- whatever pops out, goes on my hero.

Screw storage, just finish making them PvP characters. That way we can customize their armor and weapons more extensively.

I think that everyone here is getting ahead of themselves. The most thing you need is one set of weapons for each hero. But to be the most effective you should have both necros that you get setup differently so one is ss and one is mm. Then you can have one extra set of weapons for your monk and this is prot gear.
I myself have all my heroes setup with one set each and because im using kephlets refuge on one of my monks i can switch it to prot without changing weapons. So if you are ingeneous enough you shouldnt need any more space.
But I can see where you are coming from and a belt pouch would be nice for the people that are unable to get the ideal weapons for multiple builds.

That's what I'd like to see. A single line of slots, that appears between your own slots and the character representation - when you select the hero in the inventory panel. That would be plenty for a few extra weapons and easy to drag and drop between.

I'd be pretty happy if there just were a couple of weapon sets per hero.
I like necros to be able to switch to +energy/-regen sets anyway once the bodies start falling.

^Would that include all the weapon sets for your heroes that aren't equipped atm sitting in your inventory space though?
