Should Faction Farming be Stopped or Changed
Well.. this i more of a question but also a suggestion... im currently annoyed by one of the major grinds in the game.. faction farming my alliance does alot of this and wants me to do some too or i get kicked... i find it a bit unfair since i dont have enough time to play the game all the time and i would also like to enjoy nightfall.. cant arenanet sort this out the game isnt meant to be about grinding and somehow its a giant grind... please. sorry for long block of text btw and incorrect punctuation and also the benefits are not even that good since you wont need discounts on items and stuff since you just do alliance battles to keep the place.... also elite missions are pointless too since you gotta alliance battle instead to keep the place
Please comment on this suggestion

You're in a faction farming alliance, yet don't want to faction farm? There is an easy solution..

Look i know this sounds weird but ive been with them for ages and I like having them as friends and easy to connect with its just unfair that i have to be seperated from my friends if I dont play the game all the time and grind it all on alliance battles

If you join a pvp only guild, you'll only be doing pvp.
If you join farming only guild, you'll be dual farming UW 24/7.
If you join FF guild, guess what, it's faction farming.
The solution, is obvious.

If these people truly were your friends, they wouldn't kick you because you choose to play the game the way you want. And even if they DO kick you, true friends will at least keep in touch with you. You don't need to be in a guild to enjoy the game.

My guild was inside an alliance whic were for faction outpost.
But they only asked about points and forgot about other aspects of the game, like PvE, helping other or guild battles, so our leader left that alliance and searched for another that fitted better our gamestyle.
You should do the same. If they force you to do something you don't want, leave them.
