Add a Ritualist Hero to Cantha to end the debate about Razah in PvE.
Simple way to solve the issue everyone has about Razah only being available at the end of DoA for PvE;
Add a female Ritualist Hero, which is only attainable in Cantha, in the same fashion as the Assassin Hero.
And yes it makes sense to only make it available ONLY in cantha, because its a factions profession.
Problem solved.
Then those who want one at the start of Nightfall are happy.
Those who cant be bothered or have the time to DoA are happy.
Those who want 2 ritualist are happy.
Anet is happy because then more people will buy factions to get Ritualist from the start.
And those who want the "elite" ritualist with its unique NF armor and weapons can get Razah from DoA.
This wont de-value getting Razah at all.
He really just for show anyway since you cant play through NF with him. Its to show that you've completed DoA, or to show that you have a full set of Heroes.
Everyones happy.
Issue solved! No more winging about DoA and his attainment in PvE.
Plus make sure Razah has a full set of Rit skills and full max, unique weapons.
NOTE:
Im not requesting this because I have any love affair for ritualists, I cant say that I understand whats so special about them. But I happen to agree that it is a bit daft to have the Rit hero only attainable at the end of the game.
When hes virtually useless.
I have no issues with him being attained after DoA. We should have to work for stuff in GWs and if that means working through an elite mission, then so be it. We're given too much stuff, too easily in GWs now.
But I can also appreciate that some dont like elite missions like DoA, or FoW or SF, and its not fair on those. And some people dont have the hours of time to play them.
It does alienate them.
This is my only reason as to why we need another rit hero from the start, attainable from Cantha.
NOTE2:
My view on having 2 of each Hero profession is this. Its fine as it is.
We have 2 warriors for tanking, 2 monks for healing, 2 rangers for barriage, 2 Necros for MM and SS and 2 ele's for nuking and protection.
In my view we dont need 2 Sin's, 2 Rits or 2 Mesmas.
But I know people will complain about not having 2 of each anyway, so thats also why I mentioned having 2 rits earlier.

Ritualists can still be invaluable supporting spellcasters and waiting so long for an extra support character can be an extreme aggravation in my opinion. Not to mention that adding an extra hero will add an extra layer of strategy to the game.
Perhaps eventually grow to having "elite" heros from each profession as the game expands into new chapters, alongside the more standard heros. Something for the truly hardcore to work on collecting like it's going out of fashion

She could be like the one that appears in the alternate Box.
(Yeah, I now she also appears in the Cinematic and is killed by Shiro, but I don't care)
It could also be a Naga, a Jade Brotherhood member, a Tengu or even a Revel.

/signed ...not all of us have time to grind through the Elite missions as well as the game, but i did spend the money to get all the chapters.
To be honest, i dont mind that the Rit Hero is only available when you get to DoA, but object to the fact you then have to get 4 gems and play for hours just to open up the area he is in.
Ferret
P.S. I LOVE the idea above of a NAGA ritualist hero...that would be so cool, just like our wonderful centaur ele

I completely agree - once you get Razah it is too late to do anything with him.
I'd really like to be able to use a rit hero while playing through the NF campaign.

Since heroes don't have separate inventories, and can't have multiple armor sets, I like having multiples of each profession so I can build them differently. I can have a blood necromancer, curses necromancer, fire elementalist, water elementalist, interrupt ranger, damage/degen ranger, and so on. Admittedly, by the end of Nightfall the list starts to get crowded, but the more heroes the merrier.

What's with only being able to get a Factions only profession hero in Nightfall anyway?

- Getting a Factions hero in the Nightfall elite area doesn't make sense to me.
- Having a hero cost disproportionately more time/effort/money doesn't make any sense to me. The only way to justify this would be if he was somehow vastly superior (ie. the original "variable-profession" hero). As it is, there's no reason why a lowly Ritualist hero would warrant this kind of work.

Why would a factions class hero be in nightfall anyway?

Is the ingame AI good enough to handle a rit that uses spirits a lot? If not that'd be a ton of extra work for the player since you'd have to control the placement of one or two extra PCs for the best dropping of spirits and you'd have to worry about doubling up on spirits if two are equipped with the same skill.
