Excess Skill Points
Would it imbalance the game to allow people to redeem extra skill points for gold or skills? My idea is to allow people to trade 2 skill points for a skill (without having to pony up a platinum). Alternative, perhaps they could be sold for 100 gold, or used like battle commendations. As is, I find myself approaching the 100 skill point mark with my primary character without any real use for them (since I'm not interested in the skill hunter title).

100 gold per skillpoint.
10 skillpoints= 1 platinum 100 skillpoints= 10 platinum 1000 skillpoints= 100 platinum 10000 skillpoints= 1000 platinum I dunno about you, but that would be the easiest hundred plat i've ever made  /notsigned, keep them for future skills. |

106 Skill Points and no need to use them. I think we should be able to trade them in for Faction, personally. But then you'll have everyone on this forum going "is too umbalanced nub /NOTSIGNEDBECAUSEGODMADEMEUGLY".
Hey... If A.Net is gonna make PvE like PvP, then the two should be interchangeable somewhere.

I have 112 skill points at the moment, and nothing to do with them (I don't have nightfall).
Something to do with them would be cool. |

Yeah I thought gold was kinda problematic b/c of the possibility of disrupting the game economy. . . but it'd really be nice to trade them for skills (which was the point of money in the first place. heh).

How exactly do the skill points bother you? If you don't want to use them, ignore them. If you want to buy a skill or cap an elite, use your skill points. I can't understand this, a month ago there were dozens of people complaining skill points were too hard to get and they want to be able to buy skills without them. Now there are people moaning "ohhh nooo I've got too many skill points nooo" and they want to convert them into money or faction or some other game commodity that isn't skills.  Make your minds up.

given the cost at 1k each, prolly 4 for 1 would be more reasonable. Even though i say this, it wont do me much good right now anyway. I have all three chapters, i have purchased every ranger skill for my ranger and still have over 160 skill points. I'd have to wait for the next chapter for this to do any good for me there, but at least the points would be useful for something them. Other than that, yeah, maybe trade for Faction (of your choice, 1 skill point for 100 Faction). Ferret |

The only problem with this is that it would kick you in the face eventually IMO... the skill points will be eaten up too fast. |
