Concept Class: Cavalier
The Cavalier
General Background and information:
The Cavalier is a close range melee attacking soldier who wields a two handed Lance or Halberd.
(Just to clear up, lances closely resemble spears, but are not thrown. The halberd consists of an Axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long Shaft)

Cavaliers are employed as Front line infantry, personal body guards, or regular guards. They are proud fighters and are loyal to their commanders. However as with most people there are the select ones that are the opposite. In battle cavaliers use a range of close-quarter combat skills aswell as shout commands to thier allies.
The Cavalier wears body armour similar to that of a warrior only less bulky and providing more movement.

armor would be 70, since they arent as heavily armoured as warriors are. but 80 would work also
and i guess the armor may look similar to something like this:
ARMOUR
When i have time im gonna do a few line drawings of some weapons and maybe some armour

While i like your skills, they really dont strike me as something that you cant already put in the Paragon, Warrior, or Dervish's arsenal of skills.
Its just doesn't have any unique functions.

the only way I'd support a Cavalier class is if you are required to spam 'Signet of Return' at every possible chance

I really can't see a significant difference with this weapon and other melee weapons. And I really don't see a melee spear class attaining enough originality from Warrior and Paragon without utilizing a mount or something.
This is alot like a Templar idea I had a long wile back, before Paragon came out. But trying to make a class which focuses on a melee weapon and shout support now is an extreme overlap of Paragon and Warrior. Hardly new features to apply mostly the same effects.

I like the layout of the thread... very nice and easy to read. Can see you spend some time on it. Also the picture provided is good too.
As said, there need to be more stats and attack-property (as well as the skills) difference between Lance and Harlber... else its not really needed to have a new weapon for it.
Other parts (granted I did only scanner most) feel just too much like a Warrior. I think need something more.
On a side note: I did mistake the name for a cavalry, and wonder where are the mounts. Anyhow... was talking with another fourm suggestioneer about a Mount class.. which I think is shaping up nicely. Will add some more in when that suggestioneer post his/her idea up later....
