If any of you are familar with the original EverQuest, there was a bazaar where players could go, set up a sort of stand with the items they want to sell and a price for each. Then other players could come, browse, or search for items on sale in the bazaar. It made buying and selling specific items much quicker and easier for both buyer and seller.

There could either be a specific zone who's sole purpose of existance is to for buying and selling, or maybe bazaar representatives at the major cities (Lions Arch, Kaineng Center, Kamadan, etc), where players could browse the items that are on sale from other players.

Say, for example, I wanted to buy a sword that was 11-22dmg and required 9 or less. I could go to the representative, click on weapons, then swords, then filter the results by requirement, then by damage, or something similar to that

Or say I wanted to buy some random item like Drake Flesh. I could search for Drake Flesh, see all the people who currently WTS Drake Flash and how much they are asking, then buy the cheapest one. The item is taken from the players storage account or bazaar account and given to me, and the money is taken from me, and either put into a bazaar account or directly into storage. A bazaar account could charge a fee of 10% or something to take the gold out, or maybe it would be a free service.

Pros:

eliminate or reduce WTS and WTB spam
making selling and buying faster and easier
allow players to sell items without sitting around trying to sell it, they just put it up for sale at the bazaar and go about their day

Cons:

a possible learning curve for all players to get used to the new system

This sounds soooo much like the Auction House that has been suggested MANY MANY MANY times and has been Beaten to death many many times.

Upon reading stickies and using the search feature, one would find what one is looking for.
