Thanks for the effort and I think they are great ideas, but do you really think A-net will go for it?
You can try, but the original plan for St. Pat's was to hold a player event.
Meaning that it was not really an A-net event but everyone just showing up at Lion's Arch or the Greater Temple of Balthazar (haven't nailed down a place was thinking the Greater Temple of Balthazar would be better so everyone could attend no matter which chapter they own) on St. Pat's wearing green, drinking, coming up with off the wall games in teams of 6 (to keep the local chat from getting to cluttered with folks goofing around in games people could talk in team chat), telling jokes (keep it PG guys and gals), forming Congo line, and having fun.
A few things A net could do is turn the ocean green like during Halloween and lengthen the time drinks last or speed up the Drunk title clock. A few Shamrocks and a huge pot of gold would be cool.

Sometimes I wish my computer would expoled and the shrapnel would cause permanent memory loss...this is one of those times.
Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas is amnesia. GG.

Saint Toberfest
drunk effects are doubled
new drinks available.
drinking games (like the one in NF where you steal booze from NPCs)
cheaper drinks but the more of the cheap stuff you drink the lower your life, and you can die in town (will respawn) and it counts on the survivor track.

Here is a link to the Saint Patrick's day Event
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10099294
I was thinking about calling the Saint Patrick's Day Event Balthazar's Day
I read the story about Balthazar in GuildWiki and came up with this story
For it was on this day that Balthazar appeared before the weary warriors to lift their spirits and aid them in their struggle against their enemies. Balthazar's aid led the warriors to victory over their foes. To honor Balthazar for his support that day the warriors drank and celebrated. They lifted their pints of ale to Balthazar till not one was left standing and wore green to show their devotion to him.
Each year they returned to the Great Temple of Balthazar in remembrance of that day and to show their support of the god Balthazar by dying their armor green, drinking till they have had their fill, playing games, dancing, joining in randomly selected teams to fight for Balthazar’s favor, and holding Balthazar’s Day Parades in the major port cities of the land.
As these warriors were lost to the sands of time and traveled into the mist the Zaishen Order keep the tradition. Each year they hold Balthazar's Day and all who wish to join in the merriment are invited to the Great Temple of Balthazar to engage in the drinking, games, and events.
For October Fest How about Melandru?
