Player Shops
I've done a search and read over some of the past posts on the idea of player shops. I'm a noob who just recently bought GW Prophecies, and so far it's a great game. However, I can't help but admit that without a reliable way to buy/sell items in game, it feels half complete.
Sure, auction sites are great for the rare end of stuff, but for beginners like me player shops hold a great value. Not only would they allow us to do the basic task of buying/selling, but walking around to other player shops gives a great view of what weapons are out there, shows the value of items, and for me it tightens the game experience.
The issue of lag is big when considering these player shops. If there were a zone/city strictly for trading, that could eliminate the on screen lag that player shops bring. Chat spamming "WTS.. " etc never really gets many items exchanged except for those in the highest of demand.
My main question is: Has/have any of the GW team ever addressed this issue?
Thoughts, ideas? (flames?)

There's a PC fourm and a Sell forum on Guru, plus Wiki if you want to see skins. What else do you need?

an in game shop sounds like a fantastic idea tbh... atm the only weapons exchanged like he said are high end one's every other item gets merchanted - i feel other weapons could be useful to a charachter of low level.
And as he said zinger u need an in game thing - ok fine, a forum like this is OK but thats it... if it was happening at the very moment it would certainly add to the game! eg - im trying to buy something from some1 thru this atm - and its not going at all well - im spending half my gaming time trying to find him!
In game shops ftw

In game shops would not work. I used to play a game where you could make a shop where ever you wanted, and the main city, was a sea of shops. You could hardly move without standing on some guy in a shop. Worst part was that you had to click to move in the game.
Besides, you can now just use the party search to set up your "shop."

This is a very old topic of discussion, and no additional threads on it need to be created.
