Petetion to change Archer's Signet
It sucks. I think it's totally useless at the moment simply because it's tied to expertise. The higher you raise your attribute tied to this skill, the less you need it.
Thom Bangalter recently suggested in another thread using this elite along with Concussion Shot as a viable use. While this may be the *best* use for the skill, it's still terrible. Why?
*Concussion Shot has a recharge of 5 seconds.
*Archer's Signet, in the current state, only works on your next 7 bow attacks.
*In order from you to gain any semblance of profit from this elite, you'd be using Concussion Shot as soon as it recharged.
*In order for you to use Concussion Shot with this skill, you most likely would not be using any other bow attacks, AT ALL.
*Why? 7*5=35 out of those 30 seconds on the duration of your elite. You only have 15 seconds downtime to "waste" bow attacks before you have to stick to Concussion Shot again.
*Using any other attack skills lowers the profit from your elite.
*As we all know, spamming an interrupt as soon as it recharges, that does no extra damage is bad. Not to mention spamming it 30 out of 45 seconds.
What could be done to turn this into a good skill? Well, you could tie it to Marksman, and make change the skill to be something more like this:
Archer's Signet: All your non-attack skills are disabled for 15...9 seconds. For 30 seconds, your next 1...15 bow attacks cost no Energy.
Or, better yet, you could change it to something I dreamed up when I was bored.
The most major change would be tying it to marksman, but in a different way. Check this out:
Archer's Signet: For 60...30 seconds, when you use a bow, your attacks deal an extra 30...1 damage, and have an additional 25...1 percent chance to critical.
How sweet would that be?

Well what about if you have no energy? If you just use Archer's Signet, you can get off a good number of attacks while actually gaining energy.
If you think that Concusion shot is the best choice of skill to spam, try Penetrating Attack and its duplicate Sundering Attack.

It's best to just move Archer's Signet to Markmenship attribute. Not only does markmenship need a signet skill, but it also make sense.

Yep. It could be fun to drop marksman entirely by using this elite, or to use a bow legitimately on a secondary ranger, right? It wouldn't have the same purpose, but it suits the name, and I think it'd be nicer than what we have now.

If you want to find a use for it, add Mantra of Inscriptions (or Signets) then add as many high-priced bow attacks as you can, with Read the Wind. Throw in Tiger's Fury, and you got a high damage interrupt build.
The worst part about Archer's Signet is that it's part of Expertise. If my Expertise is high enough to use the skill effectively, why would I need another source of energy management?

I did some test over this skill. Appearantly it's bugged on the skill disable part. It seems to disable skill even when it's not active.

what do you mean by that? If you mean that it extends the disability of non-attack skills by an even longer amount, then that's what it is supposed to do.

Here's what I did.
expertise is at 12 or Archer's Signet work for 6 shots
Mantra of Inscription -> Archer's Signet -> (other skills disabled and recharging) -> 3 attack skills -> another 3 attack skills -> bam! other skills are disabled again and recharging -> Keep using 6 attack skills without archer's signet -> Other skills disabled again.

Archers signet is worthless, People get that. But to make it a COMPLETEY overpowered is basically what happened to Spoil Victor, and was STUPID!
Yes arches signet needs a change but to what you suggest is no thought-out well.
