6v6 or 8v8 GvG format
After doing a quick search, I didnt see anything on the forum that stood out as being similar.
It has been heavily debated that 6v6 in HA was either a good or bad change. One thing is certain, its much easier to get a team together and actually go in to compete. In the same regard, its easier for a less experienced person to get a chance to PvP this way too.
As for GvG, smaller guilds have less of a competing chance as they must have atleast 8 people to enter a guild battle. Often times I see smaller guilds advertise in HA for whatever is missing, because they either dont have enough people on or in the guild.
So if the party size were set to 6v6, it would have the same effect in allowing quicker party formations. Larger guilds could still run multiple party waves, just with 2 less per party. It would also allow less experienced people to form a guild battle with less requirements that a small guild simply cannot offer.
Would this be worthy of a poll? Would 6v6 GvG be more advantageous to smaller guilds?

I think 8v8 is still best for gvg, 6v6 isnt bad for HA making it eaiser for new players/faster to get teams together but gvg should be more serious than "slap togeter anything" ha. It should be less like RA and mroe like what it is. 6v6 might take away better tactical aspects (solo, flag runner etc) but i do see your point.
Thats my opinion anyway

I'm sorry but this is complete bs. 6 v 6 HA was a terrible change and finding a team if you're unranked is not easier at all, as there is much less people now in HA.
The only thing that you're considering is how long it takes to get a team, you're not even considering how shitty 6 v 6 gameplay is compared to 8 v 8.
And why does it even have to be 6 v 6? Why dont u just suggest 1 v 1 GvG FFS!!??
If a guild doesnt have enough to GvG, you get people from alliance, from friends list, or you get more people into your guild.
HA was already ruined because of Anet listening to noobs QQ about elitism and not being able to get a group, now you want to ruin GvG too? If this were to happen, the entire GW PvP population would ragequit the game, GW would die completely.

GvG is meant to be 8v8. Once you get GvG to 6v6 what will you attack next? Make AB 6v6 too because it is easier to make groups of two rather than making groups of four?

Hmmmm i bet both master_of_puppets and The Hand Of Death r in pretty big guilds.
Well I'm not my guild is 9 persones , with 3 players who play daily. we don't feel like joining an Alliance is not what we want.
So 6v6 in GvG sound a great idea to me

I say if some people want 8v8 (Which I think is fine, but I didnt really think about 6v6), and some people want 6v6, why not incorporate both? To HA too, there would be a 6v6 one for the people who need help understanding the game, and an 8v8 for those who are more advanced! The way this could work in GvG is: A guild has an option: 6v6 Ranked/Unranked, 8v8 Ranked/ Unranked. For the GvG and HA, you would still gain the points for the title but the higher level would give more (or of a different exclusive title). This would solve disputes! Only thing is implementing it into the game and see how it would work. You know more streamlined options that are easy to use like this would help get GW back to its former glory.

I personally would stay with 8v8. But there could be rated 6v6 guild battles that just don't do as much to the ranking as an 8v8 would. Maybe they could add some factors to speed up the guild battles. Like less guards, 1 minute and 30 seconds morale boost tower thingies...

I don't think it should be forced. I think it should be an option for guild battles.
