Default Valentines Day event

What would be cool it for Anet to have a valentines day event. the could be Hearts that remove DP and a kiss where you could kiss the nearest (opposite sex) player.
Just a thought that i think would be cool.

They would have to call the thing "Love Day", or some such crap to be politically correct.

Kissing idea is a "not so much" idea in my book. I'm just picturing orgies of people kissing, people laying down, people in their underwear, people kneeling, people in the water. Needless to say, it would be pretty sketchy. (And I'd be totally against it if there was no guy-on-guy choices...not all of us are straight)

I wouldn't mind being able to send Valentines as a drop for specific people (eg: drop item -> promtname) -> valentine on ground is dropped for person whose name you left) This way you could have random valentines, or there could be an option to send them through the trade function (if you want the person to know who sent it). These could either act as a Dp remover, or maybe give the 3 pip of regen for a certain time, or something minor.

Just an idea. I don't think there should be town reconstructions or anything though.

Oh brother.
No thank you.
I can see every 14 year old (no offense intended to the nice 14 year olds) spamming 'u want cybersex with me?'. Or 'i'm hawt!'
That kind of bs.

I don't think the community is mature enough for Valentineday event. sorry.
Not to mention that my female ele wouldn't dare to show her face on that day.

Think there are probably some better holiday choices than ones made up by Hallmark...

meh. valentine's is a commercialized holiday secretly propagated by a conglomerate of card companies, flower companies, chocolate companies, and expensive restaurants.

no thank you.

How about have this Cupid and Aphrodite NPC were you talk to her you can buy a "Arrow Of love" and you type in a players name and werever they are a cupid figure appears next to them and cupid shoot him/her and gets the arrow in the invintory it would say "An Arrow from*person who bought it* and they'd also he a flower or a box of choclates with like 25 uses, the box of chocolates would remove 5-10dp or give 1% moral bonus

Spare me..pleaasseee!!! It's already bad enough in towns having to filter around the constant 'noob wars' and 'nekkid dance partie buy sturag" (misspelling intended) without adding this into the mix. *shudders*

Ooooook, here's the thing. In principle, it's a decent idea. But in practice, to sum up, "Immature teenagers with hormones for the lose."(sic) And that's the news.

Candy Heart items - once "eaten" (or use), will have a glowing message above your head for few seconds... like "I Heart Your" , or "Hug and Kisses"

Chacolate, Flowers, and Rings - not really much purpose beside giving it to your one and only

Nice Beach- Adding sunsets and firework and take out the mob to some of the local beaches (like the one near Ascalone settlement). And of couse, add Unicorn Ponies running aruond! (also you can make your own jinggle... "It sure is a nice beach, lets go B......")

Wedding Dresses who won't want them.
