Guild Armor
I beleive that they should introduce more "Customizability" into the guild, sure you can get a cape, and a hall...and npc's but really there are really only one thing that you can truly customize.
If they introduced an armor NPC (would cost 100k) You could talk to him and design armor for your guild, like Anet could give you a cetain option of things to combine. Such as putting Spikes on a Pot helmet or something to mix it up a bit, and you could put your guild emblem somewhere on your armor and all that jazz.
The armor collectore would offer all different kinds of armor 750g armor, 1.5k, 15k there could be certain designs for each one 15k being most intricate and 750g not being as pretty.
Well, that's about it for my idea ciao.

Sounds kind of interesting, as long as Anet doesn't make it possible for your guildies to get an armor set that looks exactly like or incredibly similar to 15k armor. It would be kinda cool to have a guild do GvG in custom guild armor. I think also for PvP characters, make the guild armor an option when you make your equipment. The only problem I could see with it is deciding what elements of armor you would want customized, plus a lot of guilds are probably going to add tons of spikes and make their armor black because that's just how it is. Plus it would be an easier way for lowbies to get max armor before they're supposed to. They don't even have to pay for a run or ferry to get there either.
/signed (Make it so only level 20 characters can use it, and don't make the armor look like the 15k sets already out there.)

Yeah i agree, also i would like the armor to start out as default color when you buy it and they should add elements that no other armor has for selections so there is really no possible already existing armor models ^____^

Your problem with the max armor can be fixed easily only level 20's can use it . Seriously how many level 20's don't have max armor excluding the guys in pre-searing getting the waste of time title Defender of Ascalon title.

Hmm... if it was designed to be another "ascended" armor, and only level 20s could grab it, it'd be cool. But then again, we'd start seeing this crap in guild chat:
PlayerA: Can someone lend me 75k for the Guild Armor? I want some.

Good idea. It would be about time Anet added more reasons to join a guild... for 'Guild Wars' being the name, its sure is boring to be in a guild....

Too much work for ANet and it sounds like it'd add a large graphical burden to the game. What a better thing to do would be to add a number of sets (every set has a suit for each class) and let the guild leader pick which one to use and what colors to use. These suits would only show up in GvG (or any pvp where every member on your team is from the same guild) and be purely graphical in nature. You could have sets of varying values up to perhaps an obsidean armor set for the richest of guilds.
IMO buying a set should cost 8x whatever a single suit of that armor would cost. To make it work for elite or obsidean armors, the armor guy could also sell items that could be traded in for a set. So for 16 100k "gems" everyone in your guild could have vabbian armor, 80 100K "gems" would be able to get your guild obsidean, while 8 7.5k gems would net everyone a basic set.

It won't work when it's actually an armour though, like already said, it would
allow low-level characters to get high level armour.
It ought to be a disguise like in certain Elonian quest.
You can simply equip one item (Guild Armour) and your appearence changes
not your armour attributes.

Perhaps you should jon a different guild then, some guilds have a blast working together, etc.

Interesting idea. But to make sense they should create either much more new unique armor sets or develop an entirely new armor creation process (or the guilds will end up with equal or very similar armors in most cases). Still I like the sound of this idea.

Well i have an idea, Anet could set it to like you have to win a certain ammount of GvGs on that character for the armor liek say
10=750g armor
20=1.5k armor
35=15k
60=elite (new 30k armor :3)

Im gonna sit out on this one because though I think it's a cool idea, it doesn't sound realistic OR one of the things this game needs. Good try though (Sarcasm not intended), maybe Anet will suprise us with something like this.

I don't know how tough it would be to have guild armor(there's another thread floating around here somewhere about it too), but I think it would be a cool addition(if possible). I think the easiest way to do it would be the disguise idea.
This would also take care of one thing I'd like to see(which I suggested in the other thread): Armor which looks similar no matter what your class, so that you can tell at a glance that you are from the same guild.
But thats just my two cents

if they put that in, in GW4 you wouldnt like the armor and say "i can design a better one" + its too hard to program this mumbo jumbo.

Great idea, but too much work involved, does not affect gameplay, increase graphic lag, increase network load, introduces processor lag due to more calculations involved in placing new assets on characters, etc...
