ideas for new runes, insignia, inscriptions, mods
There have been threads like this before, but they were all pretty old and pre-insignia/inscriptions, so I thought a new thread was in order.
Just some of my ideas, yes I know some are a bit imbalanced, but instead of just posting OMG IMBA /notsigned, try to give some suggestions to balance them out. Or just post your own ideas.
"A little less conversation, a little more action" Weapon Inscription: +15% dmg while affected by a Shout, Echo or Chant (Elvis ftw)
"Wind beneath my wings" Focus Item or Shield Inscription: -2 physical dmg while affected by a Shout, Echo or Chant
Shield Handle, Focus Core and Staff Wrapping: +45 health while affected by a Shout, Echo or Chant
Defense Rune (common): minor +6AL, major +9AL -35h, superior +13AL -75h - non stacking. ~10%, ~15%, ~20% dmg reduction respectively, using AL60 as base. Might be a bit too strong, maybe +3AL (~5%), +6AL (~10%) and +9AL (~15%) would be better. Alternatively, use the higher values and don't allow a defense and vigor rune at the same time? Pick health or armor. Dunno...
Security Rune (common) : +2AL stacking (like vitae and attunement)
Palladium Insignia (common): +3 AL on chest, +2AL on legs, +1AL on other (basically 8 unconditional AL vs 10 conditional from other insignia) - might make others obsolete, though. Basically the armor equivalent of the survivor insignia.
Rune of Intensity: +1 to attribute -1 to all other attributes stacking (Fire Rune of Intensity, etc.)
Spell casting Weapon Upgrade: 80% spell energy cost, 20% chance for spell of a specific attribute. Energy costs = (5->4, 10->8, 15->12). I think half cost would be imbalanced.

Weapon Upgrade: +20% longer Shouts, Echoes and Chants (all non-wand weapons) - might be a bit imba, some might last longer than recharge
