first i think that this is in the wrong forum but heres my opinion anyway...
i agree 100% seeing that razah is the only rit hero in the game it seems a bit unfair that he is in the hardest place in NIGHTFALL with an outrageous requirement.....when rit is a Factions Profession.....
/signed for a simple quest to get him without getting X gemstones
as for the high end area it would kind of ruin his story if we were able to get him much earlier so i think the area where he is, is fine but the gemstone requirement is no good

No, really. There's only a handful of spirits that spawning power is any good for. (Shelter, Displacement, Union, Wanderlust) There's a reason resto rits in HA are usually necro primaries, and I've seen effective N/Rt and even Ra/RT spirit spammers in hero battles.
Necro/Monks outclass regular monks in enough situations... soul reaping is not to be trifled with.

R/Rt with Oath Shot is a better spirit spammer than Rit... to some extent. His Spirits can take smaller ammount of dmg, but than again - on the high lvl areas Rits spirits survive few seconds anyways.
Nevertheless, I agree - Razah for everyone!
Bring back the other topic :>

I have Razah for my Paragon and my Warrior, and I must say..
I agree with the OP, I did not purchase my gems to get Razah I earned them, but still I have no desire to spend another 8 months "Looking for Group" for my other characters to gain a HERO whois difficult enough to get without the GEMs.
Getting 1 Razah unlocked for my PvE account is insane!
ANET simply should remove the GEM requirement altogether.

In other words you want to strip away something to work for and replace it by 5min quest thus lowering longevity of PvE goals even more.
Razah is totally optional. Just like more expensive armour. Just like some expensive weapon skin.

Silly idea. N/Rt works perfectly for non-hardcore needs. Zenmai is KA btw as well.

More likely then lowering longevity, it would add 5 min gamepley to the majority of the playerbase. How many people actually actively do DOA compared to the ones that ignore it completely, because of its insane difficulty. I don't go there simply because getting a good group takes to long and so do the quests themselves. Don't have the time to do them. And no doubt this goes for quite a few people.

Getting raza is easy , DoA is alittle hard but once you get the hang of it your fine and you fly through them. I understand that it is tuff but it is supposed to be that way the harder the better. There are alot of good groups out there just have to wait to get into one is ok this way you finish them is all .......

I was pissed because I bought Razah for 50k faction literally minutes before they patched him down to 6k. But whatever, does it really matter?

Well, considering it only takes 1 of each gemstone right? Can't you just buy them? I mean it's under 100k now or near that for all 4.

To those saying "use N/Rt": Please refer to http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Rituali...Spawning_Power.
To those calling it a mere vanity item: Why are all other professions attainable without dealing with super elite crap? The vanity arguement only applies when there is an equivalent otherwise available. Uncountable swords functionally identical to the crystalline sword exist. No equivalents to a ritualist hero exist.
To those saying, "just go buy it": 100k is a lot of gold for a normal player. Most, including myself, never even have had CLOSE to that much. There's also still the quest inside the godawful zone noone wants to deal with involved.
