Armourer - NPC in a Guild Hall like the Festrival Hat Maker?
Now they have implemented the Hat maker (thank you ANet!) how about an armourer that you buy for a Guildhall??
Either
They could hold sets of armor for a charge (say 1plat)
or/and
Show them armor and it can be crafted for any characters in your guild. So if my female warrior shows him Primevil armor, than they could craft it for any other female warriors in the guild - obviously not including inscriptions and runes. Add an additional fee to craft the armor (an extra plat per piece).
The reason i say Guildhall rather than the rest of the world is it would encourage people to play GVG or join/form a Guild for the extra storage.
Thoughts??

Thanks for moving the post to the right forum!

I really don't think this is a good or viable idea.
Firstly, handing over your armor to an NPC for them to hold or "copy" to be reproduced back to you like the Festival Hat Maker won't work, as whatever you give to the armorer will be just copied and you will lose anything you've put on that armor ie. 55monk sup runes, black dyes, etc. It is a much better idea for ArenaNet to incorporate an Armor Only Storage Chest for accounts or whatever.
Secondly, having an armorer "copy" your Primevil Armor for the purpose of allowing other guildies access to buying that armor is wholly unfair. How is it that a character in your guild is able to access a certain type of armor, without unlocking the actual Town/Outpost that comes with it? I can imagine a bunch of lvl10's running around Yak's Bend all dressed up in Obsidian Armor. Not only is it unfair to players who don't have guilds, it also rules out any guild that isn't able to afford the NPC to allow this function.
It is a nice idea, but very unpractical.

The idea of the armor storage is a good concept, but that is a pretty bad way to do it, IMO... no one wants to see level 2's with FoW, lol

An armourer in the Guild Hall is a great idea, I think, but accessible armours should be limited to the 1.5k sets.

Will sign to the armor storage like having a tab for the material storage or something or seperate storage just for armor but
NOT SIGNED for being able to copy armor that takes the whole fun out of getting armor ( the primeval armor for nightfall is only supposed to be gotten at the end of the game. is a status symbol that shows you completed the game. Not for making a char and popping into the guild hall just to get primeval armor on your lvl 3 toon.)

We need armor storage yes, but a replicator NO! While we are at it why don't we get a weapons replicator...so I can put my elemental blade in for everyone in my guild to have one....yay

the only thing I would say is NO WAY on the concept you produced...
Now if you wanted an Armorer that allowed you to CRAFT the most recent purchased armor for any character. thats something. But sharing that ability with guildies took it about 80 steps too far into NO WAYS ville...
The original concept we had for this was if your most recent Crafted armor was Fissure armor (the most extream example) Then you COULD go to your guild hall with another character on your account and craft that same piece at the armorer for the same cost... Meaning the Same Plat and Materials you need inside fissure... You just would not have to go there again to get it...
BUT if you craft say Vabbi armor on any character on that account, Guess what? your GH Armorer switches to that as the last crafted armor class, and in order to get it back to fissure class you would have to go back to fissure and craft the armor there on a character to get it to switch again... So you see, It would not be unbalanced that way... BUT still this is not the spirit of the OP, so lets just say.
/NOT SIGNED
to this particular concept...
PS: I may put forward a similar proposal as described above, But I think the preferred request over this one is just for a simple armor storage tab to be added like materials was...

If this was for the character (meaning the person could delete armor and remake a piece for only 10gp) I'd be for it. For the account? Maybe if the characters were the same class. For the guild? No way.
