If a person completes both Skill Cap and Mapping title tracks, there is a very good chance that he would also simultaneously complete the proposed "Boss Killing title."
That's not my main issue with it though. The logistics outwieght it. I don't directly oppose it; I just don't see it being practical for ANet to implement and track.

But as far as I know, no one just walks around killing bosses for fun if there is a max level of 2500 bosses to kill (or something), and as far as I know, there isnt 2500 skills out there to cap either.
Just face it, It does not go hand-in-hand with the Skill Cap title!

1)I am sure the people that farm the bosses for greens really don't want a script that starts tracking the amount of bosses they kill.
2) Unless they make this Campaign specific it would never be able to be maxed out, as with each new campaign they would be adding more.
3) Messes more with the KoaBD Title that people are already complaining about...this would mean that skill cappers would get 6 titles for the price of 3.

Exactly. Aside from the pointlessness of a title that you can max just by going for the Skill Hunter title, it's really infeasible for Anet to keep track of ALL the bosses killed by ALL characters of ALL existing accounts, just for one title...

Hi, I sign for boss title with 1 point whatever you kill a boss, even if you kill the same many times; I don't see any problem with this, if title doesn't have any inherent effect, no one will "farm" it exploiting easy bosses only for "show" the title, additionally the title should be ridiculous hard to max for avoid title farm.
I also would like another title not just for bosses but for ALL monsters you kill, and also real people you kill (in PvP)

Umm... like I said... the problem is the pointlessness of storing all the data. This is a technical/hardware consideration. And yes, there IS a problem with an easy title. The Kind of a Big Deal title track is becoming more and more pointless when ppl keep suggesting easy-to-get titles...

Actually, the variation suggested by the person you quoted had no special technical issues, as it would not have to keep track of which bosses you killed. The only thing needed to be stored would be a total boss kill count per character.
I do, however, believe that such a title would be grossly unfair to the poor level 3 boss places near an outpost in a tutorial area, that would be killed over and and over again by a horde of level 20 players hunting the title.

Not if you make a requirement of, for example, 1.000.000 bosses killed for max the title; even killing low level bosses, maxed title could be amazing.

I love the idea, could be something like "Bounty Hunter" or something like that . Though I see quite a few problems with one time bosses and the bosses in presearing ><.

That "one time" boss kill could be problematic to add, very time consuming for a developer; But a title just counting boss kills is maybe very easy to add; The game already knows everytime you kill one boss, add +2 morale to you.

Most boss spawns are random classes, after a while everyone would loose track which classes they already killed and where.
Besides would force people to join in areas lots of times and would probably give them farming flags

Then why not make the title like this?:
You will earn the title Boss Hunter (1) once you have slain 500 level 20+ (or high-end XD) bosses.
