I demand this 1.5 years ago. When they changed the trader from two columns with some space into the crammed single column... even with just 6 classes, it was a nightmare. With the number of items in the list now, I go into catatonic shock every time I look at it.

Collapsible lists, tabs, checkbox filters - anything, please.

I think this is long over due also. I only sign this for tabbing the professions though, not just putting a gap between them as that might lead to a bit of confusion.

Something like the buttons for each profession skills in the priest of balthazar, but with runes & insignias, general runes & insignias could appear in all categories and you'll just have to look your profession. Selling tab will not change, as you just have to ask the price and sell.

While tabs might sound good I think it's not the best way simply becoz theres only so much runes to sell.
There should seperate tabs for insignias and runes though.
Why does the Priest of Balthazar have tabs? Becoz theres too many skills to put those all in 1 list, whereas the runes are maxed from 12 to 18 per profession. Another tab for the vigor runes coz they're classunbound. Then another tab for insignias (which I'm backing up)
Imagine the addition of 2 more chapters...
That means 16 tabs, should they choose to add more professions, with only a handful of items.
This is already the case with the Priests but there reason I've already stated.
should the runes be ordened by magictype and then by power (see my previous post) it would be a visual help and the list would be tidy as well without using a mass of tabs just to show everything.

Grab the scroll bar and drag down to where you are looking(superior/major/insignias)
They are color coded, and really quite simple, takes me maybe 2 seconds to find what i'm looking for maximum(got food in one hand and I knocked my mouse on the floor).
Try resizing that window bigger maybe?

I see it as pointless where there are plenty of other areas that are used way more often by more people, where improvement would really help people.
