I'd like to see this feature, but I doubt Anet will implement "Skip it if viewed already".
Reason: This feature requires to hold for every character on every account and for every cinematic whether or not the character has watched that cinematic. This amounts to server space which is expensive to hold for such a small feature. Perhaps Anet would do this for only a few selected cinematics, such as HA. But on the other hand, Anet has not allocated any more server space for Prophecies only chars after the release of Factions, so I'm not sure if they would allocate for this.

I don't see that too difficult, they even could delete that animations forever easily, it's one line of code they must change for don't show one cinematic. In GvG + HA there are 20? cinematics.

Now adding an option for "Don't show PvP cinematics" need more coding, but is just 1 byte per account select or unselect the option.

Do you note Factions guild halls doesn't have cinematics?

Rest of people should stop saying /not signed because you get the option to turn it off. Doesnt mean that you have to.

Agree with the skip-when-already-viewed, but there should also be a menu to view back movies that are unlocked in your own private time. This way people wont be saying 'oooh... i never get to see that movie' anymore, when 7/8 say skip. Maybe you can also spend Balthazar faction to unlock videos that you havent seen yet...

Will encourage the PvPers to play more of that interesting PvE storyline.

Having to hit "skip" every time you enter a Tombs or AB is incredibly obnoxious and tedious. It's a huge deal. It's a huge pain in the butt.

There needs to be an autoskip checkbox for all cinematics or at the very least, all PVP cinematics.

Hey! I am still sick of skipping cinematics

... and I am sure everybody think the same, at least someone really like see HA, GvG, AB cutscenes over and over and over again, for some inexplicable reason

im sick of hearing " you are now closer to the hall of heros" when im in ha, it comes up with it before im fully loaded, blame my on board graphics and it will be so much better to skip it before it comes up.

For PvE cinematics, I never tire of them. And I don't care about that, but for PvP, the game may need more speed.

Well, indeed you MUST skip it for PvP strategy reasons, using that seconds for talk to your team about the possible enemy build, etc., so EVERYBODY in the team skip it ALWAYS as soon as possible (including arenanet developers when they play the game), that's .... 100% of people skipping it 100% of the time; IMO enough reason for just remove it completely (and maybe add a "tutorial" NPC in HA that show you all of the cinematics)
