I'd like to see an option to store maybe a dozen or so phrases you use often, which can be clicked on to put into the current chat window, without you having to type them in each time - or at least with minimum of typing needed if you want to change it slightly for the current need. For those of us slower typers! Preferably ones you can define yourself, although some stock ones would be good too. Would need something around it to prevent use by chat "want to sell" spammers etc. though. Alternatively, some system that will convert spoken text to a line of chat.

Most games have you press a button like V or Z to open up a menu, and that's where you choose your phrases. Also some other games use the number pad for the quick phrases.

You're suggesting the implementation of a PERFECT spamming tool... and you expect the spammers not to use it.

Lets explain a little something:
"WTS" and "WTB" have been filtered out from Local chat beginning windows. You know how the spammers bypassed it? By spacing between them. It doesn't matter how many preventative measures are put into place, the spamwh0res can easily bypass the filters....

And what you're basically suggesting is handing it to them on a silver platter...

My advice: Learn to type faster. Take up the piano... that'll do it. I played the piano for 10 years and my typing speed frankly shocks some people.

I like this idea, and there's an easy way to keep it from being used by spammers: only allow it to be used outside towns.
