Hi, I am just asking if it will fit in GW a Proff. using a gun cause I am making a CC with it^^?
Not guns like Gatling Guns, 9mm, Tomy Guns^^.
But Like Revolver or those guns Cowboy uses^^.

You mean...A revolver?

I can see muskets or blunderbusses of some sort. "Cowboys" are a bit too advanced for GW's timeframe, although pirates wouldn't be out of question.

I agree, it mightn't be too bad for Antique Rifles and Hand Guns, in fact ANet may take the chance of a "new continent" to add this new technology.

I suggest Arquebus for Rifles, with long reload, but high damage.
By High i mean High 40ish, however there is a chance that the Rifle may discharge early, which deals you damage, the higher your Rifling Skill, the less often this happens, the minimum chance should be something like 25%.
For Pistols, mabye the Flintlock often seen in pirate movies, single shot metal rounds, decent reload. Lower damage than the rifle, but it does discharge in your face as often, 10% minimum. As much as the Pistol is one handed, you can not wield a shield with it.

Both guns have the chance to cause Bleeding or Disease, the maximum chance for either is 5%. Both cant happen together.

I dont like the thought of guns really. Maybe Mercanaries with crossbows would be as far as I would like the gun style idea to go. Recurve bow range high damage but slow reload time.
There are still many old world weapons that have not been used without going down a projectile route although Ive heard of an Alchemist type proffesion who deals in explosives. Kind of like an ele I guess with instant aoe damage ranging from; burning, disease/poison and even maybe a party heal.
I'd like to see Indiana Jones style whips brought into play. They could have lots of cripples and bleeding moves as well as knockdowns and perhaps a new type that drags you back into the fray. Probably annoying if your on the recieving end but still an avenue to go down

Just another way to make GW more like other games...I like it because there isn't any gunfire...you have the nerf's a balances now...just wait until they have to figure in a ranged chara like that. Shoot target in head, enemy becomes dazed for 4...30 seconds. Bleeding for 10 seconds. Recharge time....hmmmm depends on the type I guess. Wouldn't that really be instant death????

There are many shooter games out there.

How about 61 - 69 fire damage.

Linked to engineering attribute?

And, I don't know... Requiring unstable trigger loot to craft it? Along with some Mithrill.

And if it does blow up, your character starts running around in circles.

This CC has already been mentioned, I didnt like it then and still am not fond of it.

However, The idea of old school guns is interesting. Pistols only I think would be the best bet. However because bullets move so fast they would have to be unevadable which screams gun spike.

And yes, Zwiehaender swords and two-handed axes would be really cool. They would do more damage (Maybe a larger chance to critical with them) because of the lack of shield.

Sorry to tell you that the devs agree with me. I remember reading old interviews where the developers said they would NEVER put guns into the game.
