Lower champion title req
I would propose champion title req be lowered back again for 2 reasons.
1.Currently the champion title has no effect. At 1200+ ratings you have already become a "name" in guild wars and need no title. Titles in pvp are supposed to show your experience so you can move upwards into more thoughtful and intense battles. HA has rank or which is showed so you can get a decent group, gladiator for TA.. but Champion in gvg simply says "I'm cool" A person with champion doesn't need to show off his title for people can see his competence in observer mode. The difficulty in moving up to higher gameplay in GvG starts at the top 500 and working your way up. It's not fair to say you should stick with your own guild until it improves because guildleaders are frequently unwilling to change tactics, and starting your own guild is difficult for even champions. Once in top 500 to work your way up you have nothing to go on. Isn't it weird that your competence in gvg should be reflected by rank, bal faction or gladiator titles? For this is all that you can go on.
2.Pre-earned champion points before the "nerf" What can I say. It's now possible for a person in the top 100 to be outranked in champion by a terrible GvGer in the 1000s if the terrible player had played when champion title was easy to get and the other did not. It's embarrasing.
Note: 1000 rating is not good for a champion because 1000 rating is what people would call "provisional" in elo ranking. So, while it sounds silly, 1010 would be a good req for champion for it shows that the guild is actually at the 1000 rating level. And getting into a rank 500+is very easy, I got into a rank 157 with 0 gvg experience e.g. so champion is not needed there.
