How keeping it an enchantment but making you look transparent? Like a ghostly hero, light-blueish and transparent. Like Shadow Form, you can make you look like a real shadow and black transparent?

I can't believe some of the responses people make......... it's just retarded.
They are a bit more effective as forms instead of enchantments, but because of the significant trade offs of the ability, it would be fine if they were forms instead of enchantments.
The use of form functions on a few exsisting skills and a few future skills doesn't imply that everyone is owed a form either, that's such ignorant BS. People just make up excuses it pisses me off.
And they don't have to add additional animations, but it would be rightious if they did, either way is acceptable, the narrow idea that as a form it must require a unique visualization is so stupid.
I only wish Anet would proactively redevelope skills visually and functionally as the game grows, instead of restraining themselves to previous features and limitations, obviously, that would leave us with less options and growth.
It's a perfectly feasible idea, and also totally unneccessary. But god I do love to know that people can still make totally ridiculous and unfounded claims.

Actually, there is no reason to change them.
The Elite Form skills, if you recall, are called Avatar of ________. Such as [skill=text]Avatar of Lyssa[/skill]. While, [skill=text]Mist Form[/skill] is an elite, it is an enchantment. It is not called Avatar of Mist, or Avatar of Shadow.
So, based on word analysis, no reason to change.

I believe Dervish forms were introduced to get us accustomed to 'forms'.
I honestly don't think that 'forms' will be exclusive to one class.
Only time will tell! But I doubt any existing skills will be changed to forms. New skills may take advantage of the 'form' skill type.
After all we need more skills to make arcane mimcry's description about how it doesn't work on forms to carry more weight.

This barely changes it's application, and wording is another dumb and meaning less dissapproval, why do people have to be so simple......
Skill phrasing isn't a significant standard to limit Forms. Form type and related skills can and probably will have significant applications for alternate features in the future.
There may not be a point to changing the old "form" abilities, but fabricated and illusionary limitations arn't a reason not to. Please stop trying to rationalize your denials, the Three Stooges would like their script back.

Eh, this is no different from the talks about IW being moved to a weapon spell when factions came out.
Retroactively changing a skill's functionality (as in changing how it works completely, not just rebalances) is not a common thing by a.net (exceptions being beguiling haze, and a few others).

Just because they both have form in their skill names doesn't mean they should be forms.
