Figuring out if you've done every quest by going through guildwiki is tedious at best.
I'd also like it if npcs with something to tell you showed up differently on the minimap

I don’t remember to write it all done, and going back and helping people doesn’t always jog the memory.

As I've stated here, the best I could thought was using a 'tabbed' system, with at least three tags:
- Active - Any quest, primary or not, that is currently 'active', 'failed', or 'completed' waiting for you to take the reward. There could be checkbox to hide 'active', 'failed' and 'completed waiting for reward'.
- Completed - All the completed quest of the current character, once you get the reward. Selecting one will mark on the radar and the mission map the NPC that gives the reward. The textbox will show all the mission objetives, like shown in active tab, but with the 'talk to xxx to get the reward' overlined like all the other objetives.
- Known - This will show all the quest that have been taken by any character of the account, even if the current character cannot take the quest, have done it or even if the character abandoned it. Selecting one will point to the NPC that gives the quest. Instead mision objetives or before them, the text box in this tag will show the requirements, if any, to take the quest, like:
- Prophecies character
- 'Mission name'
- 'Cooperative Mission name'
- Level 15, etc...

To goet this working in a basic form only a slight change would be needed.
All that would be needed is something like a button or toggle for 'show all'
The show all button would show a complete list of all missions and quests undertaken but with the completed ones crossed out or faded in gray. Other than that it wouls work in the same way showing info ect when clicked on.
This couldnt be that hard to setup surly as the info is already there at the point the quest is added to list. just instead of removing it when complete gray it out (or cross it out) and mov to the completed toggle list.

Why?
My active list has a couple of quests i still need to sort and it's already a lot of scrolling...
And this is a suggestion to readd the ones that were previously taking up space?

Pointless for anyone who doesn't care about having quests completed, or taking other players through them afterwards. I on the, other hand, am interested in both of these. If the "x/y in this campaign" quest counter is viable, I like that idea as well. Not sure about the "whole account" list of "known" quests is as viable, though I suppose someone else would probably find it handy.

Thank you all, I was thinking the same thing, just forget to put this up. I agree completely, I would like something to make it easier for me to keep track of what I've done. In game. I already have a list of every quest out of game, but in game would be much easier. Please Anet, will you consider this

This would be useful
/signed to a second tab or something like that which shows completed quests
And since I think I saw someone mention this
/signed to having quests (both completed and uncompleted) organized by continent
/signed for being able to see all the quests you haven't accepted yet or abbandoned in your quest log or something (so you can accually tell if you completed every single quest in each area)
