Good idea. I think the journal should also be broken into regional categories, and it shows which have been done and those still in progress.

What regions would you suggest? I thought of:
Pre-Searing Ascalon
Ascalon City & Environs
Northern Shiverpeaks
Kryta
Desert
Southern Shiverpeaks
Fire Islands
UW & FoW

Yeah. I would throw the jungles in between kryta and the desert though. No point in UW and FOW though, seeing as how you can continually do the same missions. Don't quote me on that, anet may have changed it since the last time I was down there.

I like that version better, yeah.

While we're at it, add something about quests you can pick up or something. Perhaps allow that feature to be unlocked after beating the game so you can go get any missed quests.

Oh, this is so signed. I would save on my hard drive - I've taken screenshots of every quest, quest update, and quest reward and organized them by characters.

I'd like to see this.
Missions i'm not too bothered with, i can check those on my map.
Quests however, it would be nice to see which i've done. Not asking for it straight away, maybe a log that starts the moment you complete Hells Precipice. Before that it would be way too cluttered with quests you'll not see for days.

Some of the suggestions here are a little overcomplicated, but I agree with CharSol in that they should just create a seperate tab in the quest log.

Bumping this back to the front to add:
- The ability to track total quest count
IE: You've completed 50 of 250 Factions quests.
Factions has ALOT of quests that you have to go slug to some far away place while having a number of pre-requisites already done.
Easy to miss those without the use of Guild Wiki.

This sounds like a nice idea, perhaps a tab array for completed, active, abandoned (no tab or listing for quests not grabbed yet).
Reminds me of Neverwinter Nights, which I found useful there.

Love this idea. I am currently keeping all of my monestary credits and imperial commendations in Factions to keep track of the number of quests I've completed, to make sure I don't miss one...
