Cursed Weapons
I don't mean the "HAHA YOU NOW HAVE HALF HEALTH AND HAVE TO SPEND 1000 GOLD TO GET THE CURSE REMOVED" kind of things, but more of an alternative type of weapon people could use that is better than, say, a green item, but at a cost.
Say, for example, you have a weapon that gives you a constant +1 to your weapon's attribute, but makes your skills charge slower. Or a Staff that gives you a bonus to energy regeneration, but adds a second on to your casting time.
These are just simple examples, but basically it would be a weapon that gives the player more power at the expense of a balancing drawback. They would be treated just as any inscription is now, so PvP characters could use them as well.
Thoughts?
EDIT: Oh, and just as there are Blues, Purples, and Greens, I'm thinking these could be Reds.

this would just be abused sorry it was a nice thought but creativity comes at the cost of perverse players who diminish the chance of inovative additions to the game. but that is just my opinion

Well, those are only suggestions. I'm talking in theory, if they made properly balanced items like what I described, I think they could work in the game. Why do you think they couldn't?

We already have -5 energy gear, but it has a trivial bonus that can be had through other conditions (like >50% health).
Really though, considering how easy weapon swaping is, this is a bad idea. It would just raise the general power level of the game. There's pretty much no drawback that couldn't be negated with the proper gimmick build, or that's negated by simply swapping at the opportune time. We have enough weapon swapping to worry about as it is, let's not add more.

Just make them new inscriptions. Bugger the new wep color stuff. Anyway, I /notsign this just because I feel these could devalue skills in a way. It's also gonna get abused by someone.

i prefer "HAHA YOU NOW HAVE HALF HEALTH AND HAVE TO SPEND 1000 GOLD TO GET THE CURSE REMOVED" kind of weapon because it won't ruin game balance.
of course, anet won't make that kind of weapon exist... i'm sure of it.
