doing Vortex quests and respawning at a rez shrine full of Tormented crazy mobs which had time to multiply x10 = not fun at all
at least give us time to eat a candy cane before killing us!

Immortal guards would get people pulling the enemies to the shrine to kill them, so I'm not sure this would be a good suggestion.
What I suggest ANET does to fix it is first move the mob patrol routes so that they won't be aggroed by anyone on a res shrine or by the pet of anyone on a shrine, with the exception of mobs specifically guarding a shrine (guarded shrines won't work until the guarding NPCs are delt with, all shrines near a portal should be unguarded). Then make it so that if enemies have been pulled within aggro range of a shrine then either the party will res at another shrine or they won't be resed until the enemies move away.
Yes, I know that this method will prevent death leveling while AFK, meaning that people working to Legendary Defender of Ascalon will actually have to grind for it instead of AFKing for it overnight. So unless someone can give me a good reason as to why they deserve to be rewarded for AFKing, I don't see this as a problem.

Perdition Rock, once you aggro some fleshies they'll never leave you alone. There's also a few places in Silverwood where the centaur will follow you to the resurrection shrines.

The only time that it's really a problem for me is when the camping mob has a way to replicate itself- minions or Torment Creatures especially. 60% DP and a dozen Arm of Torment barraging the crap out of you the second you rez is especially unfun, but having your corpses made into minions which then turn around to make the next pummeling even worse is just adding insult to injury.
Make mobs avoid the rez shrines by just over longbow range, and make it so that players can't use normal attacks or attack skills within the same radius.

And also, the bounty / blessing givers are a complete pain in the ass when this happens, even if the mob isn't on top of us I get stuck behind the npc, activating skills that don't go off.... run sideways to get away and ... well you can guess the rest. The Realm of Torment seems to be the worst for this.
Damage taken after rezzing from a spell used against the team before we wiped is also a tad on the annoying side.

Quite. I always find it a bit hypocritical that AFK lightbringer exploiters caused points to be removed from Call to the Torment kills, yet AFK death levellers get rewarded with a special title...
Missed that particular exploit myself, and have so far managed to grind up to R5 Lightbringer.

While trying to cap Jagged bones with a guildie, we were spawned camped at the rez shrine. Fighting 20 or so spawn-camping demons at 60% DP is almost funny. *Rez* *Plop* *Rez* *Plop* *Rez* *Plop* *Rez* *Plop*
While it's nice that I don't get spawn-camped by players, it would be nice if I didn't get spawn camped by NPC monsters.
