Default Having your Heroes carry stuff

This is just something I was thinking about whilst playing last night.

I'm currently soloing the early part of Proph (just finished Crystal Desert) with my monk and the one thing that would be useful is if you could get your heroes to carry stuff (e.g. Sceptre of Orr). It gets a little annoying having to drop it every time to call target (rather than trying to follow whatever it is you're trying to attack whilst holding said object).

Therefore, it would be nice if anet could look at the possibility of this dependent on what’s involved of course

/signed. Dunno how they'd do it, but would be more help when playing on your own. Even the 1st mission in NF is a pain, having to run back and forth for the barrels of explosives when you should be able to get Koss to grab one.

Sure.

Now they have a 'drop item' button.
To give them items, there could be two ways:
- Double click on them while you have the item, the item is given. This could be set for normal players, to (i.e.: Giving the Saint Victor ashes without dropping them). This would be the best method.

- Make the drop button change into a 'take button' when they are not carying an item. You select an item, hit 'take' and they go to take it.

Are you serious....?? The first mission in NF is EASY, you don't even have to run far to pick up the barrels and put them on the catapaults...and you call this a pain...?

Anyways.. /signed
Having the heroes carry the Scepter of Orr especially if you're a melee character in a full hero/hench team would be awesome.
