i like the idea, and u could make some that work together...
Like...
Energy managemnt could be controled with skills like
Signet, or low eng skill
If target for is hexed, u get X eng and deal X dmg
for maintained hexes, i love some of the other ideas on this page, but you could make a maintainable hex, that you cover to spred hexes like wild fire..
There r monk skills that "next X skills recharnge and heal X much more..." what about
Passed Hexes
Elite Illusion skill
5 eng -1 regen 20 sec reset
Next X number of hexes removed by skills from target foe are not removed but transfered to other nearby foe, and duration of that hex is reset.
That would be alot of fun, from my mesmers stand point.
