You mean the storyline actually has a point after you've played through once and beating the game isn't already insanely easy?

Who knows, maybe those elites you get won't count towards it, because you haven't gone out and physicaly capped them. Maybe it'll just disquallify you from getting that title at all, somthing that someone who doesn't want to grind for massive amounts of time would probably be perfectly fine with.

I think elites should still be cap only.

gold wise, I think it could be cheaper to re-buy skills you already unlock before (maybe like 300g to 500g), but that is not too much of concern, as by that point, you should be able to make gold with better ease, especially if you need the exp for 1 skill point.

I think the biggest grind come from the exp, the 1,400+ that is needed to get one more skill point. (in a rough calcuation from person experience, I can make about 8k while getting enough exp for 1 skill point) I hope there are better ways than just mob-kill grind to get that skill point (like the B.flame, or able to get it with redoing of missions/quest, etc) Of couse, by than, it become more as a luxary, rather than necessary.

Its the cost of trying out new things.

Skill Hunter is a bad title anyway, and it really won't effect it... as you still need to cap or get the skills on one of the character to unlock it anyway, before letting your other character get it for cheaper.

(also don't use the C word, TheLordOfBlah)

What does capping skills have to do with the storyline?, do you skip part of the story because you have all elites?, what kind of nonsense response is this.

The internet should require a logic test before any person is allowed to speak their mind, illogical nonsense doesn't amount to anything, it certainly doesn't make a valid point.

Beside that point, Skill Hunter title only covers elites, of which can be excluded from unlocked skills, obviously, you can't buy unlocked elites already, so reducing the price changes nothing, and excluding elites from an ascention type unlock is a minor omition concern.

The way is not blocked by a stone, it is nearly obstructed, pretending it is an impassible wall is misperception.

On the free-use of unlocked skills...
On further thinking, I was starting to agree with Kai Nui and think there are lots virture in allow player to equip and use the skill they already got... but than a problem of possible "abuse" ding me...

One could use it as a cheap way of getting skills. So say you are a well played lv 20 Mo/Mes, and want to try out some warrior skill. (or heard of a good way of farming with it...) You could grind you exp and gold to get another warrior skill, or you could start a new character, get the skill cheap (assuming you can get it at early on, or get run so you can get it) for only 10 or 20 g, and so on for other classes. Than use the fact that the unlock is free to use it with your lv 20 character.

I think allow common use of unlock skill is a good one, but need an alternative system to better handle it. (maybe like a borrow skill system, where you pay 100g to "borrow" a skill that you unlock to use for 1 day, or till you de-equipt it... something like that)

Untrue, I suggested giving the skills after ascension. You've already acquired them previously, and isn't a big deal as you can only have 1 on your skill bar at a time anyway. Besides there are runners aren't there? Although I'm sure we've all played through the game our first time without running and characters after that might have gotten a few runs or maybe a lot, depends, most people don't want to repeat stuff they've already done, which is why I'm here right now as a matter of fact.

One thing I suggested for skill cap title was instead to keep track of the boss killed instead if it's capped, but if it's not capped then it has to be. Overall your PVE characters can still get it if they go kill the bosses as long as they have the elite unlocked, otherwise they will be forced to actually cap the skill to get it.

Personally I don't mind skills being locked as I can have saved up skill points and buy them directly from a trader easily, but if I need an elite, I shouldn't have to go and find a boss, kill it, then cap it. I mean I don't have that problem on my mesmer because I have all elites at the moment, but when nightfall comes out, what the hell is the point of capping the elite forms? 2 second casting times, primary skill, and lasts only 1 second. What a worthless waste. Screw skill hunter title, it's not that important is it? Is it really that important to show you captured a bunch of worthless skills you may never use on that character anyway? I once thought it was, but not anymore.

Actionjack: You can't go through pre searing and get to ember light camp too quick so prophecies isn't a concern of easy skills, and factions isn't too bad either since it limits them on Shing Jea anyway, and kaineng only has factions and core skills, and it's not the fastest to get there, probably just as long to get 1k faction anyway. I mean sure anyone can just be cheap and farm zaishen elite aswell, so I don't think it's too big of an issue. I don't want to convince you that I'm right, I just want you to think I have a valid point, your entitled to your own oppinion and I respect that.

Theres a skill hunter title for a reason...
Theres also a reason for progessive skill trainers along the story...

Have a think, it's not going to happen.

(there is no sarcasm in this post...i mean this sincerely. I think it is a great Idea.)

I love how people complain about grind. Grinding is everywhere and it's a natural part of any game. Very enjoyable for the majority. A small minority despise grind because they want everything handed to them. I've noticed PvP players complain about grind; but what do they think they're doing when they do any form of PvP? *Sarcastic gasp!* They're grinding faction!
