I have been playing guild wars for awhile now and think that it's a pretty good game. There are a lot of ways that it could be better though. I was really hoping that the creators of Guild Wars would pay noticte to the petition for roleplaying districts. I'm me all day and play video games to be someone else for awhile. However, since no districts have been made for the roleplayers I have an idea that would allow us to take matters into our own hands. If all of the roleplayers joined a roleplaying guild and the flags of these guilds were posted on a list on a website or something similar, the roleplayers would be able to find people also looking for roleplaying parties by sight. If the flag matched the one on the list, it would be obvious that they are a roleplayer. If someone was in that guild and didn't feel like roleplaying for awhile, they could simply not show their cape. Sound like a plausible idea?

Well there is already a number of roleplayer guilds. The rest of this is really more player initiative than something to be suggested for the game. I think there was a list of roleplaying guilds over in the guild forum somewhere...

I don't think anybody would be interested in posting guilds up on a website considering that many are made everyday.
And also, I don't PvE that much now, but I'd rather keep my cape on.
As Knightsaber said, it's more player initiative.

What is there to role play?

I was an avid DnD and even Vtm geek, but I see little potential for actual role play here, unless you're going to maybe camp pre-searing, as a helluva lot of people go there for defender and end up sitting around ALL day chatting.....
