This entire idea is obviously based completely upon the fact that:

1.) There will be a Guild Wars 2
2.) The Guild Wars 2 engine will allow such a thing

Although I haven't used it in years, one of the most impressive game modifications I've ever seen was Garrry's Mod for Counterstrike Source. Not only that this modification allowed you to play around with the physics of Half Life 2, but also that you could create some pretty fun scenes using objects, characters, and the environment of Half Life 2.

This would be be awesome in Guild Wars 2! Many people of whom want to create some sort of lore could create their characters in the Mod with any kind of armor(This mod would also allow you to preview your character in the armor of your choice.) and any of the objects in-game as well as a few select environments that could be updated at a later date. You could then create battle scenes and sequences, add special skill effects, and things of this nature.

This description is somewhat crude, but if you think this is somewhat of a good idea feel free to add some of your ideas as well

Gw doesn't support any mods and they need to be more concerned with the game itself rather than an option to screw around with stuff when your bored.

Neat idea, but I agree with Sith on the practicality of the idea isnt something that GW will do.
