Stance Animation
Hi, just an idea or suggestion came to my mind^^.
For the upcomming GW2, When we use a stance our Battle Stance Animation changes so it would be more Unique and Wowing^^.
What do you think, it maybe not that long but you get my point^^!

Stances = instant. If you change it, it will not b instant anymore! This will cause quite a lot of troubles! Unless you can think of the feature that allow the char to use sprint and moving at the same time! O,o

She (i hope your a she) didn't say to change the casting time.
She said to make it noticeable that you are using a stance, sprint for example, alto a very simple one, we can use as example, if your running normally you have one animation, if you use sprint you run faster and also the running animation is different, for sprint its just because you running faster.
So lets give an example, your wielding a sword and your character normally has the sword held upright | , you use riposte and it changes this and makes your sword sideways , like this /
Its not really anything game breaking or really really needed , but it would be cool, which is one of the reasons Magna , said it should be put in.

To include all things like frenzy(i can't remember if that's a stance or whatever)
Watching a melee fight is pretty boring.
I would bundle this idea with individual animations for all classes, battle and emotes. Too much recycling in GW.
Alot of casters all do the same animation, alot of emotes, especially for females, are identical.

No, I didn't I didn't say ground breaking if I would say ground breaking I would use the word Amazing^^.
But for me Wow just means Wow^^.
It's just something I remember in GE^^.

I think this option even might have been considered during the development (of GW1) but dropped due to expensive modeling work.
Nevertheless, I think this would be a very nice feature.

Let's se...
1. You can't have more than one stance at the same time...
So no problem about animations. There could be one animation per stance.
2. You can make animations not related to the model, but to its 'squeleton', any character could move with any animation of any other similar character... for example... humans... Danika has set the Elementalist dance animations...
So you can actually make stances change the 'idle in combat' animation, while leaving all the other animations unchanged.
