Arrow No capes PVP! Alternate option to capes...

How about an alternate option to capes in PVP? So we can see out characters the same way we can in PVE.

I guess neither of you saw the original idea in Guild Wars. Guilds had to wear bibs. It was so ugly. I was so happy to see them use capes when it came out.

Anyone got a screen shot of the bibs to show?

It's a cloth thing you put around a baby's neck when you feed them. It keeps the food or formula or whatever off their clothes o_O

eh, I dont mind but I don't like how the capes get colored red and blue for red/blue team, my cape looks crappy with a red background cause the emblem is, you know, red. Seriously, I've never looked at someone in pvp and said "ZOMG he has a red cape! must be an ally!". We have compasses and party windows for a reason.

i would rather have those circle highlights under their feet. not only does that preserve the characters' 360 appearance but you can also see this highlight better from 360 degrees.

plus the guild wars capes look fugly in general. it's not like they are a smooth silky cloth-like deformation, but rather, a rigid plastic animation. alternate option ftw!

No thanks... just imagine a soccer game and everyone brings their own clothes. GG.

(I know its not the same, and you can hit ctrl/alt or use the minimap, nevertheless its less clear). It's a reason why PvP chars are ugly

this could be a client setting. so your player can have pvp capes off while others can still see it on...
